Florida porn has recently made a comeback after 4 decades absence, acting as a sort of Grapefruit League for mainstream Adult Cinema with several local purveyors (Jodi West, Bang Bros. and various incest junkers like J.W. Ties) cranking out junk. Back in the day, HG Lewis, Doris Wishman and many others made the Sunshine State briefly porn central.
The no-name filmmakers of "Passion Holiday" are less talented, coming up with a minor adventure that perhaps had some value at drive-ins and burlesque houses. It plays as regional cinema, lacking the gloss and expertise of Hollywood product.
Opening is a lengthy Linda Hall (as Ann) bubble bath, offering topless tease and even unusual (for 1963) full-frontal nudity when she exits the tub. She resembles Carey Mulligan but with tits, playing a girl anxious to leave the farm for the big city.
She and two other dissimilar gals (a busty blonde secretary Betty who's quit her job, and brassy waitress Dixie) stay at the same hotel in Miami, where busty singer Kathy performs. Floor show indicates content aimed at burlesque houses.
Not much happens until the gals go on a yacht trip. After engine trouble, three disembark on an island while Ann stays behind on the boat. While they're skinny dipping, gangsters arrive by rowboat, after Dixie's money. Film turns briefly serious when they confront the gals at gunpoint. Unarmed guys from the yacht rush to the rescue, cuing a wimpy fight scene.
For some reason, our heroine Ann is left out of this adventure. Trailer misleads as usual: "Never have passions run so high". Not in this nudie-tease movie.
