Sex & Nudity

  • Woman in bath, nipples is shown for 1~2 second. In her bathrobe, there is very brief topless nudity.
  • Married man kisses a single young woman as wife watches from floor above through window. Young woman later rebuffs him. Man makes a pass at a married woman but she says she can't be unfaithful.
  • A couple of scenes of implied nudity where the frame has been strategically cut so that nothing is shown.
  • In two scenes, paintings of nude women can be seen but the paintings are very surreal so they're not that explicit.
  • A lengthy scene of a very sensual but classy nightclub strip-tease performance where a man is seen in underwear for the whole time and a woman strips to her underwear during the scene. No nudity is shown, but the camera emphasizes her thighs and clothed buttocks.

  • In the ending scene while sitting on the fairway grass, we see Giovanni forcibly kiss Lidia in a way that looks more like what can be read as a rape scene since it's clear that Lidia is not consenting. The action contines as the camera pans on finale, implying outdoor fully-clothed sex/marital rape.
