- The British film is in color and runs at circa 104 minutes. The USA copy, intended for TV broadcast, is in b&w and cut to 93 minutes. VHS and DVD copies are all based on the USA version.
- Comparison between German Color version (DE) and Black and White version (UK) Throughout, dancers wear more clothing in alternate takes in UK version. In DE versions they are often wearing pasties over breasts rather than being fully clothed as in UK. Almost 8 minutes of subplot with Carl Boehm doing detective work about Danik Patisson is cut from UK version toward the end. Often, UK version is longer, with cuts having been made to DE. Half of Jayne Mansfield song "You Were Made For Me" is cut from DE, but this may just be missing from this particular print, since a color VHS source exists. The sexually-charged murder of (supporting character) is cut from DE. Lilliane's "bed tease" performance is longer in UK. "Turkish Sauna tease" is longer in UK, by two shots.
- A restored color version of the film is circulating, titled "The Pink Flamingo Cut."
- The French version, which circulates as low quality VHS, is in color and uncensored. Many scenes are alternate takes with more nudity. (The black and white US version has alternate takes with less nudity, and the German color version is somewhere in-between.) The editing of the title song "Too Hot to Handle" is also different, with more wide shots and less censorship, including a final shot where Jayne lays down on the bar. This was an earlier edit of the scene. Notably the Turkish Delight/Steam Baths performance is uncut in the French version, and includes more dancing from Maureen and Melody. The fight between the girls toward the end is also much longer here. Jayne's song "You Were Made For Me" is also present and uncensored. Some footage is missing from this copy for unclear reasons.
- A "Bullfight Burlesque" performance with Ponytail as the bull was filmed. It appears in one photo, and on one Italian poster. This is cut from known versions of the film. Lilliane and others are dressed for this number toward the end of the film.
