A Polish soldier is drilled in front of the camera.
Is this animation or live action? I suppose it could be argued either way, because even though it uses almost exclusively real footage of a real man, it comes across as stop-motion. And, I suppose, there is something clever about that. Maybe we could make a point about how soldiers are "manipulated" by someone else to do their bidding. Is this what the film is intended to show? I doubt that.
The film is a nice distraction, but certainly not a must-see unless you are absolutely a fan of the director's work. And even then, I doubt anyone would say this is their favorite film.
