A Great de Funès Movie and a pretty "Guignol" version
bad_cigogne23 August 2006
I invite all Louis de Funès' fans to see one of his first important role ! I also invite anarchists and Guignol fan to watch it because it's a funny movie concerning a guy who lives in the woods and in all illegally. A "Guignol style" story where a Forrest Guard (and cop, played by Moustache) wants absolutely arrest a little bandit who gives services to the little city of Montpaillard.

Louis de Funès is great and this movie has one of the most funny fishing contest of Cinema. The famous "54" !

It's also one of Claude Rich and Pierre Mondy's first roles too. Claude Rich is like in lots of movies he used to do on this time : the young shy guy in love. Pierre Mondy, him, has a funny role : He's the director of a cool prison where prisoners are happy and who often gets a permission to get out have a little trip. Not really a realist vision of Jail but a really funny one :)

A lovely comedy . A brilliant Louis de Funes, a so young Claude Rich in a role who will become his "mark", adventures, romance, a small town and a not ordinary jail. And seductive storytelling. So, pure delight about a sort of thief as source of prosperity and happiness of a French town.
