Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A hanging woman is shown staring straight at the audience - probably the most disturbing image in the movie
  • The scene where the caretaker's wife is shown is very frightening. As a kid, this scene gave me one of the worst scares I can remember. For years after (and to be honest, to this very day) if I found myself in a dark room while thinking of this, I'd find myself urgently looking for a light swithch!
  • A woman is shown hanging outside a window. She comes closer to the window and it frightens a character watching.
  • The skeleton scenes are also frightening.
