Naya Daur is a complete movie with all elements of human sentiments and emotions. It has a great message imbibed in it. The message of humanity. The movie is a competition between man vs machine. The idea is itself a jaw dropping one and that too in 1950s. And that very idea of greatness was beautifully and masterfully crafted by BR Chopra. Dilip Kumar Sir is best as the protagony which is so relatable to reality. It's a masterpiece movie with top notch technicals and gripping narration that shouldn't be missed.
The message in the climax is rationally established and throughout optimistic. There are negative elements but are shadowed by optimism and gives a vibe of goodness. The script is engaging, characters are real, the love story between two brother like friends, their misunderstanding, the troublesome landlord, the challenge of man vs machine, the struggle to retain the challenge and so on are enough to hold you to your seat and keep you pondering many times. The songs and BGM are appropriate to theme. Nothing is nonsensical. Lastly Johnny walker makes new innovation in societal dealings is also fun to watch.
I found lagaan to be similar to Naya daur. Now I know. Naya daur is a great movie needs to be popularised and revoted to atleast 8.9 with a million votes. 8/10 is not justified for such a great movie. It will be an all time cinematic masterpiece. A 100 on a scale of 100.
