- The men and women mostly engage in sensual kissing, particularly Hercules with Iole and Jason with Queen Antea. The rest of the men mostly engage in kissing and flirtatious pursuits, all mostly done during the Amazon Island visit.

- Typical action/battle violence, mostly with swords and hand-to-hand.
- A king is carried away on a stretcher after being found brutally murdered. Mild blood is seen across his chest and torso. Another man is briefly seen staring down at a small pool of blood belonging to the dead king.
- A man is mauled and clawed to death by a rampaging lion. He is left bloody. Hercules wrestles down and strangles the lion to death.
- A man is left for dead by the fabled and dreaded Cretan Bull. Blood is seen where he had apparently been gored. Hercules fights the same bull, also sustaining gore wounds but does not die. He literally beats the bull over the head with his bare hands!
- Cave men attack the Argonauts, leading to a fist-fight.
- Jason slays a poor man's imitation of Godzilla, with a javelin throw through the skull of the creature.
- A huge sword fight breaks out in the King's court during the closing half hour of the movie. Hercules takes down a bad guy by wrapping a huge chain around his neck, strangling him. Hercules later brings down part of a palace, breaking loose columns that fall on enemy soldiers. Mild and non-graphic.

- The Argonauts indulge in heavy drinking as they attend an all-night party with the fabled Amazons. They also succumb to their drinking quicker than expected due to being drugged with poppy seeds.
