This was Elvis Presley first movie and although he never had acting lessons he is extremely well at his work. He is not great at the start but as the movie progresses his character gets tougher and so does Elvis' acting. Presley may be only third billed but he was the one put on the cover plus it was him that got people into the movies to see it and as it was the most successful film of 1956 it is worth a good few glances. It has some bad songs but not to many as the title song was a huge success. The story-line is also very good and one of the better Presley pictures.
