Lovely Technicolor film

Warning: Spoilers
Eduard Franz as Elutheire Irenee du Pont de Namours is the first excellent move that the filmmakers made on this project. I have always found his acting to be a comfort. Eduard Franz has a quiet stoicism and presence that he brings to all of his parts. The entire cast is just right. The costumes and sets are most excellent. The du Pont Story is a historical drama complete with some some narration in parts. At the beginning of this film that was made in 1950, it showed the modern day du Pont nylon plants et cetera. I really enjoy historical dramas with intelligence and a determination to give you a story about the past. This film has a nice subtle technicolor that I find appropriate. You won't see anyone taking off their clothing or loud obnoxious music. There will be no cursing God or Jesus. There won't be any smart aleck children or teenagers pouting and telling the grown ups how to eat their cabbage.Check this marvel of a film out.
