- A Union Cavalry unit attacks Quantrail's hideout. Quantrail is seen wounded and bleeding from his eyes. He was shot in the eyes, which causes him to go blind
- Jesse angerily guns down two of Quantrail's men after witnessing them murder umarmed people.
- Jesse shoots one of Quantrail's men to death after he says he's going to murder a wounded Union officer.
- Quantrail, still blinded from his wound, walks outside his hideout to face the Union soldiers hidden in the bushes. He draws his two pistols fires at them. The soldiers return fire, killing him.
