The Frank Sinatra Show (also known as Bulova Watch Time) was an American musical variety series hosted by Frank Sinatra from 1950 to 1952.
The 1950 television series counted on the enduring popularity of singer Frank Sinatra in order to attract an audience, since he had emerged as an idol of the youth culture in the 1940s. But his music career was in decline during the early 1950s, with low sales for his singles and many empty seats in his concerts. By the time the series ended in 1952, Sinatra's contracts with recording companies had been terminated. Sinatra had a career comeback in 1953, when he started a partnership with the skilled arranger and composer Nelson Riddle. Sinatra found himself attracting large crowds again, but he did not attempt to revive his television series.
