At approximately 1:36 (2:05 version), during Episode V, as the American Army Catholic Chaplain stands in the center of the screen discussing his two associate Army Chaplains (Protestant and Jewish) with the monks, you can see two individuals standing in the doorway behind them (they appear to be the other two Army Chaplains). In less than a minute, they suddenly disappear.
At 1:44 (2:05 version), during Episode VI, as the dead partisan is being taken out of the water and dragged into the boat, you can see his back half-exposed as the shirt is half worn away. A minute later (at 1:45) when the boat meets up with the second boat, his back is fully clothed as the shirt is mostly intact.
During night a GI lights up his lighter while following the rocky path through the lava canal. A flashlight might have been used in order to help increase the effect of the lighter being lit. When the soldier closes the lighter, the spot projected by the flashlight remains on for a fraction of a second, which is enough to observe the synchronization issue.
At 1:48 (2:05 version), during Episode VI, the dead partisan is shown lying face up just before they bury him, and if you watch closely, his eyelids twitch momentarily.
