When Parker is showing the Floogles his son's mousetrap he shows how the entry teeter board works by moving it. After a cut to the Floogles and back to Parker, he's moving the teeter board the same way again.
At the beginning of the film, Mr. Trumble is shown signing the will. Only John Carradine is present. A will is not legal unless the signature is witnessed by two people.
The screen time from when Homer and the delivery man leave the penthouse with the five chairs to the time that Fred calls the antique store is less than seven minutes. There are no time jumps in the continuous action. Even in a slapstick comedy, there is absolutely no way the chairs could have been taken down the elevator from the top floor, wheeled to the delivery dock, loaded on the truck, driven to the antique store, unloaded and wheeled into the store, then haggled over and auctioned to five separate customers in less than seven minutes.
Just after the Bill Bendix Gang presents Bendix with the birthday cake, the reflection of a boom mic can be seen on the glass of the bookcase behind him.
In the opening credits Fred Allen says about "Screen Treatment and screen play" that these four people are now out of work. However his own name is mentioned in the screen treatment.
