This fluffy World War II musucal takes the popular Andrews Sisters song "Three Little Sisters" (memorably performed in the 1942 B musical"Private Buckaroo") and gives it a silly plot around which a bunch of fun period songs are performed in aiding the war effort. Three sisters (Ruth Terry, Mary Lee, Cheryl Walker) break into the house on miser Charles Arnt's property with one of the sister's sokdiers pen pals shows up for a surprise visit. This leads to the other sisters finding romance by wird getting out and eventually the entire town showing up to support the girls effort. They are threatened by Arnt's return, but even a grouchy miser must have a breaking point when his business reputation is threatened with destruction.

While the plot line is ridiculous and cliched, the way it is presented is very entertaining. Cheryl Walker ironically was the girl in "Stage Door Canteen" who finds romance with a soldier, marries him, and is fired for breaking canteen laws. As the arguing servants aiding the girls in their scheme, Lillian Randolph and Sam McDaniel provide some fun humor. While this is not the quintessential 40's musical, it is presented with innocence and charm and certainly served its purpose and entertaining audiences then. wild dated by today's standards, it can certainly be enjoyed on a historical level, even though it is one of dozens of similar films to come out during that time.
