Every time we lose an entertainment icon sections of the media tends to go into spasms of panegyrics. The encomiums ‘legend’ and ‘legendary’ are used for everyone who is no more, as though death automatically anoints you. If that is so, I can hardly wait. I've always been very interested in all kinds of mythology, and Neil Gaiman's American Gods is a novel that has fascinated me greatly. I was intrigued by the fact that Starz was developing a TV series and so far everything I've seen looks beautiful, and I can hardly wait to see what the series has in store for me and the rest of the fans.
While we wait for the series to premiere, we have two clips for you to watch teasing the show, and it looks to be very good. The first one deals with two inmates, one of which is Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) the other is Low Key (Jonathan Tucker), talking about not pissing off the ladies in airports. It's cool, but also interesting how much focus they give to this scene. It's well done, but it's just about airport ladies? The other scene is more...

The holidays can be a trying time. From the stress of gathering together family and friends from near and far, to cooking a casual 10-course dinner before 2:00 p.m., it can wear on even the most zen person. And even under the best of circumstances, keeping the peace over the dinner table can feel like a monumental feat of willpower, let alone in this current political climate. Thankfully, the day after Thanksgiving, there is one thing we can all gather around and agree upon, and that’s the reboot of Gilmore Girls. But if you noticed one particularly peculiar...

Wow. Just wow.
There was so much that happened on Gotham Season 3 Episode 4, I'm not even sure where to begin, so let's start at the end.
So Barnes is about to go dark. I can hardly wait. I can't even imagine what he's going to be like considering he's such a hard ass, but we know from several conversations he's had with Jim that he's got some hidden secrets behind that tough exterior.
I think it all has to do with his war experiences, but I'm not entirely sure. All I know is that I'm looking forward to seeing the high and mighty Barnes fall down the rabbit hole, if you will.
I don't understand why he was bothering checking out the pool of blood. He knew Alice's blood was dangerous, so why didn't he order some sort of cordoning off of the area?
I'm also a little concerned about Bullock's future.

"Babylon Berlin," the path-breaking joint serial project of X-Filme, Ard Degeto, Sky and Beta Film, is finalizing its pre-production and will start shooting in April. The high-end series, set in the roaring 1920s in Berlin, will be produced until the end of the year. Created by showrunner Tom Tykwer (“Sense 8”, “Cloud Atlas”, “Run Lola Run”) and his writer/director team Achim von Borries (“Alone in Berlin”) and Hendrik Handloegten (“Good Bye, Lenin”), "Babylon Berlin" stars “Generation War”-lead Volker Bruch and multiple-award-winning and up-and-coming actress Liv Lisa Fries (“She Deserved It”). The four partners have already signed in for two seasons. X-Filme producer Stefan Arndt: “We’re particularly happy that we’ll be able to complete two series of eight episodes each during the first shooting. This shows how enthusiastic and confident all of the partners are in our joint project.”
Kutscher’s "Babylon Berlin," centering on police inspector Gereon Rath, delivers an atmospheric portrayal of Berlin as the most exciting city in the world of that time, a hotbed of drugs and politics, murder and art, emancipation and extremism.
Sky will broadcast the series in 2017 and Ard in 2018. As co-producer, Beta Film will be responsible for the worldwide distribution of the series.
Beta Film’s director Jan Mojto explains, “Made in Germany is also a hallmark of quality in television. Due to the subject, the creative energy invested in the project, the names involved, its high standards, and not least, its budget, the first international reactions to the project have been very positive. 'Babylon Berlin' doesn’t need to take second stage to any of the major international series.”
The broadcasting team at Sky Deutschland and Ard Degeto emphasized how unique this collaboration is going to be. In the words of Volker Herres, program director at Erstes Deutsches Fernsehen: “We would like to build on the incredible success of Volker Kutscher’s novels. These are exciting stories with a historical background, and we want to present them to German television audiences in a serial production that holds up to international standards. With this goal, we benefit from a collaboration between three strong partners so X Filme and Tom Tykwer can implement the detective series in grand style.”
“Babylon Berlin,” Carsten Schmidt, Chief Executive Officer of Sky Deutschland reports, “is an exceptional project and a perfect match for Sky – bold storytelling, an outstanding cast, and Tom Tykwer’s incredibly creative team. The cooperation between X Filme, Ard, Degeto, and Beta Film is an impressive example of a fruitful and fair collaboration where all the partners are striking a unique path for Germany and Austria. With 'Babylon Berlin,' we are adding an in-house German production segment to our exclusive international agreements with such major partners as HBO and Showtime – a direction we will be moving in even more in the future.”
And Christine Strobl, managing director of Ard Degeto adds, “'Babylon Berlin' is a special project and very important for Ard. With this series, Ard Degeto will be offering Das Erste audiences a real treat that can stand up to international comparison from both the narrative and visual points of view. With regard to cooperation and financing, such an exceptional project deserves an exceptional approach. I am looking forward to the upcoming start of filming – judging from the screenplays, we can expect some outstanding television.”
A special challenge for the three authors and directors, Tom Tykwer, Achim von Borries, and Hendrik Handloegten. “For a long time, we were searching for subject matter that could tell the story of this unique era in all its facets,” Tom Tykwer explains. “We finally found it in Kutscher’s novels. And after Achim, Hendrik, and I spent three years working intensively on the screenplay, I can hardly wait now to get started.”
Achim von Borries adds, “The final years of the Weimar Republic were a time of continual crisis and constant attacks from political extremists. A rapidly growing city with immigrants from all over the world was in the middle of it all – Berlin, the international melting pot, with the pressure constantly mounting. This was a source of inexhaustible material for us as authors. And to finally have the opportunity to portray the atmosphere of the late 20s is a challenge to us as directors – absolutely huge and incredibly exciting.”
For Hendrik Handloegten, the city of Berlin plays one of the key roles: “Berlin in the final Weimar years was characterized by its fast pace, freedom, and diversity. But soon it was too much speed, too much freedom, too much diversity. A city that is always becoming, but never is. In 'Babylon Berlin,' the city is the protagonist. And Berlin in 1929 is a bestial, monstrous, famished and satiated, exalted and down-to-earth, elegant and degenerate, perverse and chaste… and mysterious protagonist. The best thing that could happen to an author and director.”
Stefan Arndt adds, “We’re really looking forward to capturing this exuberant episode of Berlin’s history here in the city itself, thanks to all our partners and sponsors. A stunning outdoor set is being built right now in Babelsberg that will evoke so many impressions of the city at the time. Together with our experienced film artists from our previous productions, we are greatly looking forward to bringing the world of the 1920s to life in a TV series. For all of us, this project is the dawn of a new epoch in television production.”
Volker Bruch captivated millions of television viewers with his portrayal of Wehrmacht officer Wilhelm in “Generation War”. As one of the five leading actors, he won a special prize at the 2013 Bavarian TV Awards for his performance, as well as a German Television Award and Emmy Award.
Liv Lisa Fries won considerable acclaim in the Ard film “She Deserved it”, where she plays the aggressive teenager Linda who tortures her classmate to death. She was awarded the 2012 Golden Camera as Best Young Actress for her convincing performance, and also won the 2011 Günter Strack Television Award.
The chief editors of "Babylon Berlin" are Christine Strobl, Sascha Schwingel, and Carolin Haasis (Ard Degeto), Gebhard Henke and Caren Toenissen (Wdr), and Marcus Ammon and Frank Jastfelder (Sky Deutschland). The producers for X Filme are Stefan Arndt, Uwe Schott, and Michael Polle.
The project is sponsored by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, Creative Europe Media, and the Nrw Film and Media Foundation.

Welcome to the DC Weekly, where every week we cover the land of DC comics, TV, and movies. Be it random bits of news, TV show reactions, or miscellaneous reviews or speculation, you can be sure to get your DC fix here!
This Week I talk about a real-life Batpod! Sort of… From there, I talk about “Legends of Tomorrow,” and finish off with a review of issue two of “Dark Knight III: The Master Race.”
News-LETSReal-Life Batpod
Have you ever watched “The Dark Knight” and wished you could have your very own Batpod? Of course you have, but like most things in our favorite comic book movies, that's nothing but a pipe dream -- the stuff of fairy tales. Well, if a recent patent from Ford is any indication, that dream could be closer than we think. Kind of… a bit… Okay, admittedly it's still a stretch.

Bristol Palin's recent engagement to her fiancé, Sgt. Dakota Meyer, turned out to be quite the showstopping affair.
Bristol, 24, took to her Instagram on Monday to share video of when she got engaged to Dakota -- a 26-year-old Marine vet -- at a Rascal Flatts concert this past Friday. Lead singer Gary LeVox dedicated the band's song "Bless the Broken Road" to the couple, after which Dakota got down on one knee and proposed.
LeVox tells the cheering crowd in the video, "She said yes!"

The title of Parenthood’s penultimate episode — “We Made It Through the Night” — could just as easily describe the NBC drama’s viewing audience as accurately as it does the family at its center.
Even though many of us are now emotionally compromised from watching Thursday’s installment, we are indeed nearing the end of the Bravermans’ on-screen journey — and this week’s events, while tearjerking (duh), seem to be bringing the beloved series to a sweet conclusion.
After all, how could you not love the episode’s tender moments? Adam helping a student make the perfect soufflé? Sarah and Amber’s lovely duet?...

It's (almost) the most wonderful time of the year, when we gather in festive jubilation, celebrate special moments with family and no longer have to pay attention to the Jacksonville Jaguars. That's right, it's almost time for playoff football.

If you.re also a huge fan of the movie series, then I.m sure you.re already one of the record number of eager presale ticket buyers, but with that, you might also have noticed that Mockingly isn.t shilling an IMAX release. Weird oversight on the part of Fandango? Nope. What you could be witnessing is a sci-fi battle between two of this year.s biggest film releases. In the New York Times' recent profile of the ineffable Jessica Chastain, the paper briefly mentions that Lionsgate has been squeezed out of any IMAX screening slots by Christopher Nolan.s Interstellar, which premieres November 7. Friends and fellow Kardashiatrixes, welcome to Part 2 of our look back at season one of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. I had so much fun the first time around, I can hardly wait to see what crazy antics those Kardashians will get into over the remaining four episodes. We’ve got, let’s see, *checks notes*, death, drunk driving, unwanted pregnancies, homelessness, and child pornography. So, yay. Let’s do this. Episode five (“Remembering Dad”) finds Kim & Co mourning their father, Robert. It’s the fourth anniversary of his death from cancer, and everyone is sad, especially Khloé. Now: If you were a normal television show, what would you do at this point? Maybe tout the man’s accomplishments, his achievements; perhaps share specific, heartfelt details of his relationship with his family in order to convey the depth of emotion between him and his family. In short, you would foster...

The latest episode of Doctor Who blew my mind with regard to my expectations. I followed any news about the change of the Doctor like a creepy stalker following his one and only love’s decision on where to go to college. To be honest, I grew more and more concerned as the days, weeks, and months drew nearer to the Doctor’s return. I nearly wet my pants when I saw the first images of the T-Rex in London. The words “Come on, Steven Moffatt ol’ buddy, don’t let me down” ran through my head for a year. Yes, I got that quote from Lando Calrissian of Star Wars.
The premiere of Doctor Who Season 8 arrived. My sister made blue cupcakes and bought custard to commemorate the occasion. We yelled at the pre-show to end, and finally... it started.
Almost immediately, the episode extinguished my first concern – Peter Capaldi.

With the great reception of Guardians Of The Galaxy so far, Chris Pratt is a hotter name than he’s ever been before. Because of this, I’m sure a few more people are getting excited for next summer’s Jurassic World. First, let me say that, setting aside a quibble or two, this is almost certainly my favorite album of 2013. And that has less to do with any specific personnel, "song," or individual aspect of the album than it does with the fact that the old adage "they just don't write 'em like that anymore" does not apply here. This is a "progressive" album in every sense of that term, and is somehow able to both evoke the heyday of a particular genre of progressive rock (i.e., have a certain "timeless" quality to it) and to be both timely and relevant in the present.
The primary writer here is John Crispino, about whom little seems to be known except that he is a "composer and musician." (He plays drums, keyboards, and percussion, and provides most of the vocals.) He is joined by a distinguished group of musicians,...

There’s a new miniseries in the pipe at NBC and it’s based on a modern classic novel. This will hopefully put on a new spin on this adaptation as we’ve already seen a feature film. The novel that’s getting adapted a second time is the 1967 best-selling suspense novel Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin. To make this miniseries as successful as either the original novel or the film, it’s going to need a stellar actress to bring to life the main character of Rosemary. Any bright ideas, readers? I have to admit I couldn’t pick any one actress; she had to be chosen for me. When I heard Zoe Saldana was going to play the part, I immediately felt she was the right choice.
Rosemary’s Baby will be a four-hour miniseries with Saldana playing Rosemary, but that much is obvious. If you’re...

For a dyed-in-the-wool film buff, getting a chance to see movies that haven’t been in circulation for decades is always enticing. Beginning tonight, UCLA Film & Television Archive is presenting a series called Columbia in the 1930s: Recent Restorations. Alongside established titles like Frank Capra’s The Bitter Tea of General Yen (1933) and Howard Hawks’ The Criminal Code (1931) you’ll find other films that are virtually unknown: Attorney for the Defense (1932), East of Fifth Avenue (1933), By Whose Hand? (1932), Men in Her Life (1931), and Lover Come Back (1931). Stars include Edmund Lowe, Constance Cummings, Pat O’Brien, Lee Tracy, and Charles Bickford. I can hardly wait! I...

While we have yet to see any of Wickersham’s episodes, she must have past her tests with flying colors because it’s been announced that she’s been made a series regular. Good on you if you stuck behind her without seeing how she meshes with the team and shame on you if you doubted her!
Wickersham’s promotion was confirmed by Variety and we will see her in action come Nov. 19. She’ll be playing Nsa analyst Eleanor Bishop, an idealistic and determined specialist in international assessment and preparation. She’s a bright, educated,...

Ram Charan Teja and Priyanka Chopra starrer Zanjeer is all set to release on September 6th in Hindi and Telugu languages. Interestingly, Ram Charan was unsure of making his Hindi debut with the Apoorva Lakhia directorial. When the dashing actor was approached to play Vijay in the remake of the 1973 blockbuster he was hesitant at first.
“I was in two minds when I was approached for the film. I could not decide whether to do the film or not as it was a remake of a hit Amitabh Bachchan film,” admits the 28-year-old in an interview given to Pti.
Ram Charan Teja’s father Chiranjeevi who is a huge superstar himself had to convince his son to take up the project.

Pretty Little Liars' mid-season finale delivers an awesome revelation that changes everything, but can Caroline trust it?
This review contains spoilers.
4.12 Now You See Me
You’ve got to give the Pretty Little Liars writers some credit – that took guts. Aside from making one of the Liars ‘Big A’ (or ‘Uber A’ as I refuse to call them), having Ezra Fitz revealed as a wrongun in this summer finale’s final moments was the most ballsy move they could have pulled at this point. Aside from the shippers and endless heartache this means for them, this changes absolutely everything we thought we knew about ‘A’, and Rosewood and Alison’s dealing with ‘Board Shorts’ in the summer before her supposed death.
But before I get overexcited about this awesome episode, we have to remind ourselves that this show Lies. The writers lie in interviews,...

The reveal of a game-changing twist, speculation about a houseguest’s true identity, the birth of a powerful alliance, showmances galore, and a squirrel in a cowboy hat eating corn – all this, and it’s only the second episode of the season? Most Valuable PandererJulie Chen’s announcement of the much-hyped Mvp twist left several of the houseguests reeling from its implications. “Wow, that changes the game completely,” belched Jeremy. “This Bb Mvp might really hurt me,” confessed McCrae, worried that the Mvp could neuter his HoH reign. A beaming, glitter-eyed Aaryn was more optimistic: “I think that I’m...

One of the best parts about ABC Family's production/viewing schedule is its consistency: 12 episodes on, 12 episodes off. None of this broadcast network garbage about three new episodes followed by an eight-week hiatus followed by two new episodes followed by a six-week hiatus followed by sweeps weeks followed by ZZZzzzz. And what makes Pretty Little Liars especially great is that during the twice-a-year, three-month break, filming is usually going down which means that loads of photos and teasers and clues and general shenanigans fall daily on Twitter like manna from heaven. Why, just yesterday, ABC Family released the official promo poster for season four. Get a load of this:
Dude. Everyone is Red Coat.
Other stray observations: They're standing on another fresh grave, this is the best Aria has ever matched in all her whole life, hey Emily's legs!

NBC’s "Hannibal" debuted last Thursday to mediocre ratings. The network has enough faith in it that they’re re-running it tonight at 10 Pm (9 Pm Central). And you really should watch it. It’s absolutely fantastic.
If you told me last week that I’d be singing its enthusiastic praises after one episode, I would’ve mocked you and sent you on your way. After all, does the world really need more Hannibal Lecter?
Turns out, yes.
It’s easy to forget how great the nefarious psychiatrist/cannibal/serial killer can be. Overzealous producers did a fine job of diluting his iconic presence throughout the aughts, first with a serviceable-yet-forgettable 2001 sequel, followed by a lame and toothless retelling of Red Dragon, and finally with a terminally forgettable origin story, Hannibal Rising, that was so uninspired that it looked to have murdered the franchise dead in its tracks.

All right, that’s enough slacking off, you people on Arrow. Back to work with you! Yes, Arrow is returning tonight, and I can hardly wait. This “absence makes the heart grow fonder” stuff is rubbish. Happily we not only get Arrow but we get the return of the elegant and skilled Huntress (Jessica De Gouw) whom friends and family call “Helena”. I’d go for “Huntress” too.
We have a TV spot and some behind the scenes featurettes for tonight’s new episode “The Huntress Returns,” along with another installment of the Stunts series for your Arrow-loving enjoyment:

Photos from the next thrilling episode of The Walking Dead are undeniably a treat. Photos of Daryl Dixon from the next thrilling episode of The Walking Dead are a whole ‘nother kind of awesome. Prepare yourselves, because the crossbow toting Georgia boy with a heart of gold is what we plan to deliver in this update.
Is it just me, or is the beloved one looking very Road Warrior today?
Norman Reedus is the man of the hour. As one half of the two leads in the cult classic, The Boondock Saints, you would think the actor was somewhat accustomed to mad fan love, but the phenomenon that is The Walking Dead has put the 44 year old Flordia-born actor in probably the brightest spotlight of his life. Some speculate that it is his unpredictability that makes Daryl so popular.

James Mangold may not be Tweeting an image a day like Marc Webb, but the director of The Wolverine is still doing his part to make sure fans get a look at some behind the scenes images of his upcoming film about the most famous of the X-Men.
So far the majority of the official promotion for the film has been focused on the feudal Japanese elements of the film. These pictures serve as a change from that, with one image showing what appears to be sci-fi destruction, and the other showing Wolverine next to a tree he likely destroyed, surveying the damage in the fierce, glowering manner that Hugh Jackman has perfected.
Fans are getting very anxious for a trailer, but they’re going to have to wait until the end of March to see it. Judging by how the film is shaping up, it may be worth seeing...

One of televisions brightest stars is, without a shadow of a doubt, Margo Martindale. She’s been around for years and has always stood out, even in the most laughable of shows. Who could possibly forget her season-long arc on Season 2 of Justified, for which she won an Emmy? I can hardly wait to see her on The Americans, FX’s new drama series, and now news is breaking of her involvement in another of my favorite TV shows: New Girl. Martindale is great at drama, but that doesn’t mean she’s a slouch when it comes to comedy. She can land a joke with the best of them.
Earlier this season, we met Nick’s dad, as played by Dennis Farina. It gave us an interesting look into why Nick is the way he is. Naturally, once you meet the father you want to meet the mother, which is where Martindale comes in.

Actor Kyle MacLachlan is returning to How I Met Your Mother. In other words, the Captain is…wait for it…back!
Back in season 6, Ted experimented with whether a single man and a married woman could be friends. That’s right, when he met Once Upon a Time‘s Jennifer Morrison as Zoey, she was already taken. Her then hubby, now ex, is best known as The Captain. You could do a lot worse when it comes to nicknames, especially with Barney in the mix. He could call you something pretty cruel, right?
The CBS comedy is in it’s 8th season now and the return of the Captain is scheduled for Feb. 18. Details are being kept under lock and key. In fact, the episode title, “The Ashtray”, has very little to offer, but according to the EW scoop, The Captain will reach out to Ted, and Ted will totally...

It seemed fitting, at the end of "The Curse of Shiva," that this year's league winner was the mysterious, never-before-seen Ted.
Not only because The League Season 4 of The League had less to do with football itself than any previous season, but because it was, at heart, an in-depth examination of loserdom.
Before watching tonight's double header, "A Krampus Carol" and "The Curse of Shiva" - two of the season's funniest and most unhinged episodes - I was convinced that Shiva's curse (placed upon the group at the start of the season) was just another of the show's many plot threads that are dropped almost as soon as they are introduced.
But totaling up this year's parade of failures, embarrassments and bodily injuries for the gang, I started to wonder if it was actually just a plot thread too subtle for me to pick up on.

Too many people in the comics racket get the tribute they deserve long after they leave the medium – if, indeed, at all. So I’m going to try to write one while the subject is still in her editorial seat; possibly before she even decides if she wants to actually leave the medium.
As you probably read – presumably right here at ComicMix – Karen Berger will be leaving her position as Executive Editor and Senior Vice President of DC Entertainment’s Vertigo line this coming spring. As Glenn noted in his news story, Karen will have been at the company for a third of a century (no, that photo on Glenn’s story is recent) and will have run Vertigo for 20 years. Vertigo, which she fostered, molded, and kept alive in the face of challenge and competition, all without adequate support from the guy who ran their marketing department at the time

Great news you guys: Billboard is reporting that super scribe, I mean singer, Ke$ha is writing an illustrated autobiography (aka picture book) called Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life. Lucky us! Just what the world needs -- a book written by a 25-year-old whose preferred red-carpet accessory is a mannequin head. I’m sure this book will be the stuff of legends. Toronto never disappoints. I have just returned from my fifth year at the Toronto International Film Festival, which featured over 300 films. Since most of those films are from many countries besides the U.S., I always feel like I am in paradise. At least one of these movies will screen in Austin soon, and I hope more will make their way here by next year.
Most of the time I avoid English-language films, since many of them will eventually make their way to Austin theaters or on-demand services. However, I broke my rule the very first day by going to see On the Road, Walter Salles's adaptation of Jack Kerouac's classic novel about young men driving through late 1940s America.

Marsha Thomason (Lost, Las Vegas) plays FBI Special Agent Diana Berrigan on White Collar. Last season, Diana got engaged to her oft-mentioned, rarely seen, girlfriend Christie. This season, the team is back together in New York but something isn’t right with Diana. Marsha talked to AfterEllen.com about whether we’re going to see Christie this season, what she thinks Diana would wear to her wedding, and if we’re going to find out why Diana has taken Levi Johnston’s crown as the world’s least excited to be engaged person. Marsha was funny, lovely to talk to, and generous with her time. I only wish there was a way to put her lovely accent on English the page for you all to be able to hear.

Styd got to talking with the creator of The Walking Dead comic book, Robert Kirkman, who also works as the producer on the hit AMC TV show of the same name. Kirkman and Ep David Alpert provided some hype for the next season, the season that looks like will send fans of the show into a frenzy much like the zombies with Woodbury, the prison, the Governor, Michonne and Merle Dixon coming back all tantalizing viewers. Check out below for the interview, or see it all here.
Kirkman loves Michonne in action: ”I can say that I’m completely in denial when I see Danai [Gurira] walk out on set and jump off the page…As badass as she is in the comics, seeing her move and seeing her kill the zombies in motion is so much more intense that you can believe. Bryan Lee O’Malley has announced at Emerald City Comicon in Seattle that his Scott Pilgrim, a six-volume black and white graphic novel series from Oni Press, will be reissued as a deluxe, resized, full-color hardcover series beginning this year. The colouring has been carried out by Nathan Fairbairn and judging by the preview images released so far this is going to be a fine excuse to re-read, what I consider one of the greatest comics books series ever.
In the press release, series editor James Lucas Jones goes on to explain the origins of these reissues;
“Everybody loves Bryan’s black-and-white artwork but after seeing the few color stories he did with Scott and the gang, it was hard to avoid imagining a ‘what if?’ scenario. Now those wild dreams have come true. And to have one of the best colorists in the industry at the helm, that just seals the deal.

The new Japanese trailer for The Avengers offers up plenty of new footage, new characters, and new action. And most of it is in English so no translator required.
This new trailer is fantastic. In addition to what we’ve seen before, we get a great look at Hawkeye in action, Cobie Smulders finally gets a little face-time as Maria Hill, and a familiar face makes an appearance too. I won’t spoil it in case you want to see for yourself but it makes perfect sense to have this person appear since Tony Stark/Iron Man is one of the main characters.
I can hardly wait for this film to hit the big screen, and I never cease to be amazed by seeing the Hulk in action. It took so long for any footage of Mean-and-Green to surface that I was worried we’d get stuck with a kick-ass...

Says Miss Piggy of her new appointment:
Imagine the likes of Clooney, Dujardin, Fassbender, Oldman and Pitt achieving the very pinnacle of their careers by getting a chance to speak with the one and only moi—Miss Piggy! Naturally, I will be asking questions that only moi would dare to ask.

This is rather fantastic news and massive kudos to Orange to have the bottle to make this happen but we’ve just received a press release alerting us to the fact that Miss Piggy will be on the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTA Awards to interview the stars as they walk down the carpet. There was talk of both Miss Piggy and Kermit hosting the Oscars a few months ago but they were ditched for Billy Crystal so this really is a big plus for the BAFTA Awards and will no doubt get picked up all over the place!
Orange are the main sponsor of Britain’s biggest awards ceremony and have taken the rather brave decision to get Miss Piggy to be their main presenter on the red carpet for the awards this Sunday 12th February. I say ‘brave’ for two reasons….
She will do her best to steal...

Sherlock Season 3 is Solid
This past Sunday saw the finale for Sherlock, BBC’s modern interpretation of Arthur Conan Doyle’s legendary fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes, and the question on everybody’s minds is, “Will there be a third season?” Apparently, the answer was given some time ago, only nobody bothered to tell the fans! It seems they were waiting until after the Season 2 finale to give the extremely comforting news that Sherlock will be back for a third season next year. I’m so happy I could laugh and cry at the same time.
The crafty Steven Moffat, the co-creator of Sherlock as well as the current creative head of Doctor Who, revealed via his Twitter account the joyous news, saying “Yes of course there’s going to be a third series – it was commissioned at the same time as the second. Gotcha!” Dang it Moffat! Don’t play with us like that!

This newcomer is definitely gearing up for awards season, taking the red carpet by storm for her latest premiere! After showing off so many fantastic frocks while promoting The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, I can hardly wait to see what Rooney Mara has in store for us come awards season -- and if it's anything like her last appearance on the red carpet, we can definitely expect sophisticated glamour! For the Madrid premiere, the petite star opted for a flowing Rodarte Fall 2011 halter gown. While lately she has opted for a lot of dark hues, this light look was definitely a nice departure. Once again, Rooney ruled the red carpet! Do you like her style choices so far? Katrina Mitzeliotis For more style news, follow Katrina on twitter! Anne Hathaway – Catwoman – Talks Dark Knight Rises and Gotham
Bane might be the talk of the town but his straight-forward attack on Gotham City and Batman leaves little to the imagination, which is why it’s very good to have another angle working with the mysterious and elusive Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. Anne Hathaway recently shared her feelings about being the Cat that confronts the Bat.
Hathaway is merely the latest to walk in the footsteps of Batman’s feline femme fatale, with the last incarnation taking shape on the big screen with Michelle Pfeiffer wearing the skintight leather. No, I don’t count Halle Berry because that movie was a big mistake.
While there have been many that preceded her, Hathaway didn’t succumb to any pressure about living up to what’s been done before. As she revealed to HeroComplex, “What’s come before doesn’t...

Geek Girl Navigating the World – Supernatural will top my list for a long, long time
I am kind of a TV junkie. I’ll admit that. There are several shows that I watch frequently and have a tendency to recommend to anyone who’ll hold still long enough to express even the barest hint of interest. There are also several shows that I have purchased in their entirety on DVD. For a long time, if I were asked what my favorite show was, I wouldn’t have been able to name one.
That all changed in 2005. I considered the WB to be a haven for soapy and fairly ridiculous teen-drama fair after they’d pretty much abolished and animation line-up that I’d loved to watch. There was a new show premiering, though, that looked promising. As a sci-fi/fantasy fan, the lack of anything to take the place of “The X-Files” was disconcerting.
