Russell Hayden is the kind of worrying lawman who believes that slipping his sheriff's badge into his pocket means it's ok to beat the crap out of anybody who gives him a hard time, so naturally he gets into more scraps than a schoolkid hoarding a bag of sweets. A typical low-budget western with non-stop action (and dips in a water trough) substituting for any kind of plot. A young Dub Taylor provides the annoying comic relief.
