It would appear that George Carney's (Old Pornick) and Viscount Castlerosse's (Man in Bath Chair) scenes were deleted from the final cut.
Max Adrian, who appears in this film as the supercilious Chester Coote, was one of the original members of Laurence Olivier's National Theater Company. He played Polonious in their 1960 opening production of "Hamlet" with Peter O'Toole as the prince. In Olivier's 1948 film of the play, Polonious was played by Felix Alymer who appears in this film as the architect.
