Review
Three racy Hollywood films from before the production code. Baby Face (1933), starring Barbara Stanwyck as a toughened speakeasy sexpot who heads to New York City to sleep her way to the top of the corporate world, was notorious even before the uncensored, pre-release version was recently rediscovered. The disc features both the original theatrical release and the restored pre-release version. The disc also features Red Headed Woman (1932) with Jean Harlow as a vivacious vamp and co-starring Chester Morris, Lewis Stone, and Una Merkel, and Waterloo Bridge (1931), James Whale's gritty adaptation of Robert E. Sherwood's wartime romance starring Mae Clarke and featuring a young Bette Davis.
