• The plot revolves around the murder of Ebenezer Laurel. Stan and Ollie are considered suspects when they show up to the mansion at what they believe is a will reading. Throughout the night, people mysteriously disappear when the very creepy butler tells them they're wanted on the phone.

• Stan and Ollie are lead to sleep in the room where Ebenezer Laurel was murdered. All the furniture is covered in white sheets. The butler said his body was found in the closet. As Stan and Ollie try to sleep, they hear a mournful howl, followed by the closet door opening and a pair of disembodied eyes move about. This turns out to be cat.
