When Francois Villon is stripped and whipped in the dungeon, the lacerations on his torso move between shots.
When François and others leave the King's presence, they turn and walk away. It was forbidden for any to show their back to the King; they should have departed by backing away until they were out of his sight.
The film begins in 1432, then jumps ahead 25 years to 1457. A title card states Louis XI is King of France. Charles VII was still king. Louis would not succeed his father until 1461.
