Violence & Gore
- While Phoebus hangs out with Esmeralda courting in the garden. Jehan stabs Phoebus in the back and he's assumed he was killed and Esmeralda is falsely accused by the court but he actually survives in the end.
- Clopin and his men riot in the town square to storm the cathedral but Quasimodo fights back and throws stones and a wooden beam which they use as a battering ram. Quasimodo then pours hot lead on the men in the square. Phoebus and his guards rush over to the cathedral to stop the riot and rescue Esmeralda.
- While Jehan attacks and assaults Esmeralda in the bedroom, Quasimodo intervenes and grabs Jehan and carries him out of the room and throws him off the balcony but not before getting stabbed twice by Jehan and later Quasimodo calls his priest for help by ringing the bell one last time, but it's too late as he dies in the bell tower.
