Sex & Nudity

  • Live Penises are seen occasionally but the buttocks is Scene throughout. All in a none sexual manner and no close ups.
  • Most sinners (people damned to hell) in the film are naked, including both men and women. This is not shown at all in a derogative manner, but is more of an added punishment for the sinners.

Violence & Gore

  • The sinners being tortured by various methods are somewhat violent and may disturb some viewers.
  • Blood is shown.

Profanity

  • None (probably because of the fact that the film is silent).

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This is especially scary to those that believe in Hell.
  • Overall the movie is very eerie. The film is about a man traveling through hell, although there is a deeper meaning to the plot and the idea of the film is not to scare you.
  • A man is shown holding his decapitating head which may be disturbing to some viewers.
  • Various sinners are shown being tortured, each one being progressively worse than the last. Some blood is shown.
