- One year later, May 1972. As Snapper preps the inaugural Bare Feet Classic, Trotter, with Dani in tow, hits the road to sell LightWave board shorts up north and pay back his debt to Snapper.
- Six months later. Reg is released from prison, but a surf trip with Snapper to Bali takes a dangerous turn. Meanwhile, Buddy and Hunter party in California and Hunter finally has to pay the price of lying to his parents.
- Dani discovers a new world with Tash but risks it for a once-in-a-lifetime surf break; Buddy and Shirley get caught up in Mac's dangerous dealings in Bali and a tragedy changes Buddy's life forever.
