Marlowe leaves his parchments with the agent and exits to meet with his soon to be murderers in Deptford. The agent instantly rings William Shakespeare on the string and goblet phone and pitches Marlowe's parchment, now calling it the 'King's Lair' as if it were his own idea. And hence the rumor is started...
