- Eddy learns the truth about Orianne. Turk is seeking revenge for death of his son forcing Batourine to come to France, leading to showdown for new Russian Kingpin. Vogel tightens his grip on Caplan.
- Time is ticking over and they still don't have Morlighem's ransom money, having been outwitted by Lemoine yet again! Caplan accepts Bordier's proposal, which consists of re-drafting veterans of the Reserve Investigation Unit. A top secret operation is launched - a last-ditch effort to free Morlighem. Meanwhile, Vachewski finds out that the crime squad is working on identifying the two ATM robbers using CCTV footage. The vice is tightening around them! This period of extreme tension brings the four cops closer together than ever. They now know the score: if one of them falters, they all go down...
- Oriane has managed to work her way into Caplan's group as an interpreter. She is bent on vengeance. Caplan has his gun in his hand when the Russians launch an assault on their stakeout. Flashback: five years earlier. A war within police ranks between Rossi/Caplan's unit and Vibert's. During an operation, Vibert shoots a suspect in cold blood. Turned in by Caplan, Vibert is sent to prison. Oriane, who is in fact Vibert's daughter, has been seeking to avenge her father ever since.
- After his car blew up, Theo was taken to hospital in a critical state. Caplan and Morlighem go to Vogel's place, determined to avenge their companion. Vogel finds an ally in the shape of Oriane Béridzé, who also wants to eliminate Caplan. Her plan is to force her father, an ex-cop, to contact Caplan and put him on the tail of a trafficking network run by the Russian mafia. An ambush. Meanwhile, Roxane is deeply upset about Theo, and watches over him day and night.
- After an assassination attempt, Jordania is placed under police surveillance in hospital. His adversary, Pavlovitch, teams up with Atom Parajdanov. They are trying to get to Jordania any way they can. Caplan offers him a deal: hand over information on his rivals (become a "STOUKATCH" - a traitor) in exchange for police protection. Meanwhile, Vogel and Oriane take Hélène Rossi hostage to put pressure on Caplan.
- There's no time to breathe! It's a painful, soul-destroying period. Fortunately, the divisional chief superintendent, who is supportive towards them, is still around for a few days before he is due to retire. However, the group starts to crumble under the pressure. Roxane, for one, is struggling with his conscience. When Lemoine beats up Vachewski, he finds out that it was his attorney who gave him over to the cops. Morlighem has poker debts and he's asking Caplan to help him find a solution.
- Unable to reimburse his gaming debts, Morlighem is kidnapped by a gang of gypsies. The kidnappers send pictures of him being tortured along with a ransom note. If he's going to come up with the money and save him, Caplan has no other choice: he must call on Lemoine. The countdown has begun... The roughneck puts him on a job - an ATM bust, no less!
- Their lives becomes dominated by lies and slipping through nets - anything to save their skins! Inspector general Vogel is going all-out to get Caplan and his friends, with the help of the prosecutor. They try to get them implicated in various shady cases currently under investigation. The four cops are fully aware of the constant risks they are taking, not only for themselves but for their families too. They make their ways through the booby-traps laid down for them, still leading their regular police investigations all the while. One of these investigations gives them a lead on a gang of ATM robbers.
- Lemoine is arrested by Marceau: the future of the VP police is about to be decided, right there in the interrogation room! But the roughneck only wants to speak to Caplan; he offers him a deal: if they get him out of there, he won't breathe a word! Caplan, Vachewski, Morlighem and Roxane prepare a forced removal, If it goes to plan, it will get Lemoine out of the prosecutor's office, right under Marceau's nose. But what should they do with Lemoine once he's free? - kill him, save him or corrupt him?
- Caplan must execute his plan to capture the Invisibles and hand them over to Fèvre. Meanwhile, Madame Arifa and her sons kidnap Myriam.
- With the death of Vissarionovitch - who ruled as "boss of bosses" over several Russian-speaking mafia clans - a bloody war of succession is shaping up between the two pretenders: Jordania and Pavlovitch. Roxane continues to operate alone, tracking down Vogel's sister thanks to information provided by Vanderbeke. In the meantime, Caplan, Morlighem and Megrelishvili stake out the funeral where Vissiniarovitch's burial service is due to take place. Odessa, a female contract killer, sets up shop in a hotel opposite, ready to strike.
- The Russians got the better of Jordania, who was killed in the course of the attack. But how did the maximum security safe house get located so quickly? Caplan's suspicions fall on Andréas. Under questioning, Andréas explains that he is working to a plan drawn up by Georgian police in agreement with their French counterparts, the aim of which is to lure the top boss of the Vor V Zakone from Moscow and to arrest him in France. And Caplan's unit had better keep out of their way.
- Caplan is up against the wall: he has agreed to stage an ATM hold-up with Lemoine, to get the money for Morlighem's ransom. But when he gets there, Lemoine is nowhere to be found and an unpleasant surprise awaits him: Caplan realizes that the hoodlum has leaked the hold-up info to the cops, and is making the most of the subsequent diversion to go and rob a diamond merchant! Surrounded by the local detective agency, headed by Roxane, Caplan and Vachewski manage to escape from their colleagues' clutches just in the nick of time. Time is running out. And, if they have any hope at all of saving Morlighem, they must find Lemoine fast and retrieve the diamonds.
- Lemoine's attorney is found dead. Prosecutor Vanderbeke hands the investigation over to the Central Office for the Repression of Banditry, led by Commander Marceau, instead of Caplan. Caplan and his men have no alternative but to get their hands on Lemoine before Marceau does, otherwise he may squeal on them in return for a reduced sentence. During this wild chase, Rossi's death takes on a new turn when his wife, Helene, finds some documents in a secret safe.
- Fèvre confesses all to Caplan. He tells him about a safety deposit box in a bank which contains a record of France's role in corrupt missions on the continent.
- Caplan must carry out the dangerous mission of negotiating with Madame Arifa in order to earn Dantin's trust.
- Bernardi receives a gift that could spell trouble for Vogel. Eddy suspects Andreas has some other motives for helping with the investigation. Oriane get much closer to Eddy.
- The police of police isn't done with the Departmental Service of the Judicial Police (SDPJ) group. The investigation into Caplan's group and Bernardi is led by a devious cop: Chief Superintendent Henri Brabant. For his part, Walter is still enraged about the violent aggression his children suffered. Behind Caplan's back, he enlists Wassim Alcala, an old friend from the army, to find Charlie (Caplan's mysterious friend who appeared in season 3) to equip him which what he needs to take down the Turks.
- Marceau visits Caplan in prison to offer him a way of escape and amnesty for himself, Roxanne and Morlighem. But what does he expect in return?
- After helping Caplan escape from prison, Marceau asks him to help infiltrate a gang of robbers known as the Invisibles.
- Caplan finally makes contact with the Invisibles. Meanwhile, Roxanne and Morlighem plan to kidnap Myriam.
- Caplan's hunt for the Invisibles continues. His only lead is Myriam Elmidoro, Merks' sister, who runs a gambling circle in Paris.
- After successfully selling the gold to the Arifas, Caplin is offered another mission by Dantin. This one is much more dangerous.
- Caplan and Morlighem have intercepted a truck from a company owned by the Russians. Then they discover a vast prostitution network. Georgian mafia expert Andrew Megrelishvili tells them that there's a threat of a war between rival gangs.
- The first commando operation that Caplan, Walter and Wassim lead against the Turks, puts Baba Aroudj under the fire within his organisation.
- Suspected of abusing a prisoner during an interrogation, Major Rossi Vogel is interviewed by the IGS (Internal affairs)
- They've barely solved the Russian Mafia case when Caplan, Walter and Roxanne find themselves faced with "Baba" Aroudj, head of the Turkish Mafia. As for Vogel, he finds himself in a mess in prison. But that's not enough for Caplan, who wants to definitively put him out of harm's way. Only to get to him, Caplan is going to have to reconnect with the ghost of a very painful personal past.
- By intervening in Marseilles to capture "Baba" Aroudj, Caplan and Walter interfere in an investigation into a bloody heist, committed ten years earlier in Aubagne. Commander Guido Frankeur, who never dropped the case, intends to charge Caplan and Walter for their interference. Unless the two Parisian cops help him to ruin the Turkish Mafia case in league with the Marseilles mobsters.
- The great Manitou of the Turkish Mafia organisation has decided to let Baba Aroudj go. Fatih Imrali shall serve as an intermediary with Caplan and Walter.
- Caplan and Walter are struggling in the Marseilles bouillabaisse while in Paris, Roxanne and Bernardi find themselves in the middle of a drug deal that leads directly to mobsters Caplan knows well, having used their "services".
