- MR. BRANDON'S BLOCK is a children's show that uses songs, special guests, science experiments, and stories about a dog named Levi, to help kids with self-esteem, their feelings, relationships, difficult subject matters, and balancing technology in today's world. As a recent father, Brandon Hess, the show's host, noticed a trend in children's entertainment-everything was getting faster and faster. The pacing. The edits. The animations. Adding to the noise of social media. Brandon wanted a children's show for his daughter that was quieter, and slower paced, that matched the peaceful parenting style he and his wife, Tara Tucker, model and remember from their childhoods. He wanted a hosted-show that could befriend children and talk with them about their emotions, relationships, difficult subject matters, and current events with the utmost respect. And a show that helped put social media into perspective. So, he and Tara created MR. BRANDON'S BLOCK. The show reminds us of things that matter most-that we are all special and loved, that the inside of someone is more important than the outside, that we can manage our emotions in healthy ways, that loving friendships are very important, and that we all need forgiveness and kindness. MR. BRANDON'S BLOCK is more than a children's show. It's a place where we all can belong. A place where wonder is prioritized. Where uniqueness is celebrated.
