How about a customized yellow 1932 Ford roadster conceived in 1956, untouched since the day it was built? Or the purple 1932 Ford hot rod roadster sharing a place of prestige along with other unique builds that were once on the covers of popular hot rod magazines like the April 1960 Soup-Up and November 1960 Custom Rodder? Other cars include a 1914 Ford hot rod custom peanut wagon, an early dragster that beat out Big Daddy Don Gartlitz and set a record of 210.76 miles per hour for the quarter-mile in 1966, and a 268-mile-per-hour Funny Car. The diversity of the Farroni brothers' collection and their past exploits garner deep respect in the world of the automotive obsessive. And they are adamant that everyone should follow their dreams. Reflecting upon his early adolescence, Dick said, "Who would have ever thought that I could own and drive a AA Top Fuel dragster? I just followed my dreams, and my dreams came true."

- Theo is starting college and Denise is to return to Hillman. Cliff and Clair look forward to fewer children at home, but Theo does not have a room at college and has to commute while Denise drops out of college. Sondra announces she is pregnant.
- Dennis & Tommy get Mr Quigley to coach their baseball team. Mr Quigley hopes it improves store sales. He manages to get the Dodgers to play an exhibition game for the town. Mr Wilson is said to be going on a trip which explains his absence.
- Dennis sees a mynah bird he wants in a store. The store owner stays he can have the bird free if he buys the bird cage. Dennis talks to his father, and he promises to be good and study for school if his dad gets him a bird cage as an award.
- Mr Wilson reads in the paper that a monster has been seen in town. Since his editor wants exciting stories, Mr Wilson decides to add to the story when he sees large footprints in the back yard. Dennis has a new novelty toy - large fake feet
- A woman runs into Anthony's vehicle and they start dating. She is the rich daughter of man who owns a hotel chain. Julia and the others hope they will be hired to be the hotel decorators. Anthony announces he has asked Vanessa to marry him.
- Alex and Jeff wake up early to go camping with their friend Red. As Donna sees them out the door, Red comments that women cannot go camping because they are too soft. Donna tells Mary they are going camping with the guys to prove Red wrong.
- Mary's friend Carol is engaged to Matthew, but does not want her family to know. Carol asks Mary to hide the ring and have her boyfriend's letters sent to the Stone residence. Donna and Alex start to wonder about Mary's secret and the mail.
- When Donna finds out a favorite doctor plans to retire, she decides he should have a retirement dinner with testimonials from his patients and peers. As plans progress, Donna finds out Dr Jason does not want to retire regardless of his age.
- Donna gets a parking ticket and does not think she is in the wrong. She decides to fight it in traffic court. While there, singer Tony Martin is also in court fighting a ticket. He decides to fight his ticket because Donna is fighting hers.
