He finally wins the case and Devaraj is released immediately. Thereafter, Deenadayalan said the truth to his wife Lakshmi who wants to bring back at all costs Karnaa at home. Meanwhile, Vijay is arrested by the police because of Devaraj's conspiracy. Karnaa rejects his parents' request and finds outrageous to abandon a baby due to his handicap. Then, Karnaa promises to help Vijay, but he advises Vijay to escape from the jail. In the meantime, Devaraj shows his secret illegal business to Karnaa and Vijay takes some photos of his factory. Afterwards Devaraj's goons kidnap their parents, Karnaa's adopted mother and Amudha. Vijay and Karnaa finally save them and send Devaraj to jail.

- 11-years-old boy Kukoi who runs away from his village home and starts working in a motor garage in a city. One day the owner attempts to molest Kukoi. Biswa Boro, the warden of the home, is an understanding man. He coaxes the boy into a confession of the true circumstances of the painful event. Kukoi is brought before the magistrate who orders his release and custody to his parents or any authorised guardian. Biswa goes to Kukoi's village where he discovers that the boy's mother died years ago and his stepfather has disowned him. Biswa, who is now retired and does not have children, decides to adopt Kukoi.
