- Family psychologist Sergey Vasnetsov is in trouble. His wife left him with their five daughters--and his mother-in-law. Eldest daughter Masha is a breezy fashionista, second daughter Darya is a goth, third daughter Evgeniya is an athlete, fourth daughter Galina is an A student, and youngest daughter Polina, nicknamed "Pugovka," is the cute little baby. All are very noisy; none of them know how to cook or clean. On top of that, lately Vasnetsov has no luck with clients.
- Sergey Vasnetsov got his first and only customer. It's Oksana Fedotova who is unhappy wife of Rublyovka's oligarch. Meanwhile, the daughters try to cook and clean the apartment by themselves for the first time.
- Masha is invited to appear on TV show but the role isn't the best. Sergey met a teacher Lyudmila Mikhaylovna who falls in love with him. He decides to get rid of her, as a result of which Galina Sergeyevna gets the bad mark for the first time.
- Pugovka asks dad the question: "What if you are not my dad?", after which he proves by all means and falsities to the children his kinship with them. Meanwhile, the sisters find his resemblance to grandma.
- Sergey learns that Masha is dating two guys at the same time and it's shocking him. And Galina Sergeevna is joining a new grade where Dasha is studying.
- Vasnetsov doesn't like that his daughters can't find a common language with each other, and he decides to spend a session of psychotherapy with them. And then there are problems with his mother-in-law: Grandma refuses to look after Pugovka when he at work.

Grandma makes the girls each swallow one garlic clove a day, but they discover a remedy that's much tastier--and helps better in the prevention of influenza.
- Galina Sergeyevna's classmates give her an insulting nickname and she tries various unsuccessful methods to get rid of it; Sergey tries to get Oksana's forgiveness for his involuntary deception and also deals with angry clients who threatened to avenge that he advised him in everything and always tell the truth.
- When a new guy joins Dasha's class. She falls in love with him and even gives the goth clothing style a rest in order to please him; Sergey loses his head from love and longing for Oksana because of what goes to the reception to the therapist.
- Vasnetsov decides to move to live in the village in order to forget Oksana. But DAd's idea meets fierce resistance in the face of his daughters. Girls are not enthusiastic about the village life.
- Oksana has separated from her husband and left her Rublevka's house. Now she doesn't need anything but long-awaited freedom. Her husband froze her bank account, all those whom she considered friends have turned away from her. Oksana has nowhere to live, and she comes to Vasnetsov.
- Sergey suggests that one of his daughters move in with Grandma to free up a room for Oksana to use; meanwhile, Oksana is looking for work on the ad. As a result, the new work--even if it turned out to be a fake--frees Vasnetsov's apartment from a lot of the things.
- Vasnetsov has to have a psychotherapy session with the headmistress of the school where his daughters are studying. He becomes aware of the secrets and love intrigues of all the teachers. And Oksana remains at home to look after Pugovka.
- Dasha was arrested. Dad hurries to the rescue and he was arrested himself. And Vasnetsov's clients all day are served by his faithful friend Antonov and Oksana.
- It turns out that Galina Sergeyevna is also capable of strong feelings, but the subject of her adoration, classmate Ilya Polezhaykin, pays more attention to Masha, so Galina Sergeyevna is jealous. Meanwhile, Oksana gets a waitress job at a restaurant.
- Vasnetsov finds Zhenya's diary, of course, reads it and learns a lot about himself. And Oksana got pestered by the cafe's director she works in. To get rid of this, she have to use a cunning move.
