You may not know the name, but you know the work. In major advertising agencies, motion picture studios and production companies, Mr. Langlois is a seasoned veteran trained in all aspects of the creative and administrative functions. Since 1995 he has been busily engaged in creating and writing entertainment materials and special educational undertakings. Mr. Langlois is perhaps best known for his production of "Duck and Cover" (1951), the first civil defense film made especially for children. This classic film's title and its message to 1950 era students, to prepare for the possibility of atomic attack has become a kind of universal shorthand for the Cold War and, indeed, for the kind of geo-political paranoia that has gripped the post-9/11 world.
Mr. Langlois is a member of ASCAP and is a retired member of the Director's Guild of America (DGA). He conceived and co-authored "See The USA (in your Chevrolet)," one of advertising's most successful jingles and, historically, the first time ever the word "Chevy" was used and approved in Chevrolet promotion. Several of his television commercials have been studied at advertising seminars as outstanding examples of TV marketing. He has won eighteen prestigious national awards.
Mr. Langlois has held executive positions with major advertising agencies such as Campbell-Ewald, Maxon Advertising, Cecil & Presbry and Clinton E. Frank. His studio affiliations include MGM, Archer Productions, Inc. and Columbia Pictures Television.- Kyle Bennett was born on 25 September 1979 in Conroe, Texas, USA.
