Radka Doseva Bachvarova was a Bulgarian artist and director of animated films. She was born on March 19, 1918 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1942, she graduated from the Academy of Arts , later specialized in painting in Budapest and Vienna. Her teacher was a doyen of Bulgarian animation Todor Dinov. The other representatives of her generation animators are Donyo Donev , Stoyan Doukov , Ivan Veselinov , Pencho Bogdanov , Proiko Proykov , Hristo Topuzanova. Her first film, 5-minute animation "Mouse and pencil" Bachvarova created in 1958 together with Zdenka Doycheva . She directed a total of 38 animated films and wrote the script of one. Among the most famous of her films are "Snowman" (1960) and "Sick Fido" (1972). She died on September 11, 1986 in Sofia, Bulgaria.- Anatoli Borisov was born on 29 September 1911 in Moscow, Russian Empire.
