Ray Corrigan was a physical culturist and very good athlete. He began working in Hollywood, as a physical fitness trainer for movie stars. Bit parts in 1932 led to action roles in the Undersea Kingdom (1936) and The Leathernecks Have Landed (1936), the same year he began his role as Tucson Smith in Republic Pictures' "Three Mesquiteer" series; he did 24 films in that series before leaving in 1939. He also did 20 of the 24 "Range Busters" series which ran from 1940 to 1943. In the latter part of his career he played apes in The White Gorilla (1945) and Killer Ape (1953) and the title character in the sci-fi classic It! The Terror from Beyond Space (1958). After he retired he operated a number of successful businesses. One of these, Corriganville, was a ranch and town used for filming TV and movie westerns. His nickname "Crash" derived from his powerful physique and willingness to undertake dangerous stunts.- Mariano Ozores Francés was born on 17 October 1890 in Madrid, Spain. He was an actor, known for Novela (1963), I Hate My Body (1974) and Un bruto para Patricia (1960). He was married to Luisa Puchol. He died on 10 August 1976 in Madrid, Spain.

Composer ("String of Pearls", "Pennsylvania 6-5000", "Sun Valley Jump"), conductor, arranger and violinist, educated in high school and a student of Ondricek. He was a solo violinist in the Boston Junior Symphony at age thirteen, and later formed his own jazz band and performed in night clubs. He joined the Artie Shaw Orchestra in 1936 as first violinist and arranger, and later arranged for Andre Kostelanetz and Glenn Miller, the latter for three years. During World War II he served in the US Army Air Force with the Glenn Miller band as arranger and assistant conductor, and later as conductor. Between 1946 and 1952 he had his own radio programs as Jerry Gray and the Band of Today, led dance orchestras, and made many records. In 1962, he joined Warner Brothers. Joining ASCAP in 1936, his chief musical collaborators included Robert Bruce, Leonard Ware, John Benson Brooks, and Jerome Lawrence. His other popular song-and-instrumental compositions include "Restringing the Pearls", "Crew Cut", "Keep 'em Flying", "I Dreamt I Dwelt in Harlem" and "The Man in the Moon".- Marthe Sarbel was born on 16 August 1884 in Paris, France. She was an actress, known for Trois balles dans la peau (1934), Prince de minuit (1934) and Un soir au cocktail's bar (1929). She died on 10 August 1976 in Saint-Jean-d'Angély, Charente-Maritime, France.
