Katrin Gebbe is a writer/director from Germany. She is the lead director of the german Netflix series "Die Kaiserin" (2022). Before that, she directed "Pelikanblut" (2019), her second feature starring Nina Hoss. The film premiered in Venice and opened the prestigious section Orrizonti. The film won the Méliès d'Or Award for the Best European Fantastic Film in Sitges and the main award at Bucheon International Film Festival in South Korea. Furthermore, Gebbe won Best Director at Fantastic Fest (Austin/USA). Her debut feature "Tore tanzt" (2013) premiered in Un Certain Regard at Cannes. The film won the german Film Critics Award, the Bavarian Film Award, and the New Auteurs Critics Award at AFI Fest (a.o.). Before her first feature, she attended the Hamburg Media School where she directed award-winning short films. Before this, she shot her first experimental films at the Academy of Visual Arts and Design in the Netherlands, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, USA.- Actor

Timo Dierkes was born on 10 June 1967 in Ibbenbüren, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. He is an actor, known for Transporter 3 (2008), The Experiment (2001) and Labyrinth of Lies (2014).- After attending primary school and high school in Münden and Frankfurt a.M., he passed his Abitur in 1973 at the Wöhler-Gymnasium in Frankfurt. He then studied human medicine at the universities of Mainz and Frankfurt, where he passed his state examination at the top of his class in 1979 and received his license to practice medicine in the same year. In 1980 he completed his doctorate in angiology under Professor Breddin with the grade magna cum laude. This was followed by training in internal medicine, nephrology and intensive care medicine at the Offenbach City Hospital with Professor Schäfer. Sievert then moved to cardiology at the University Hospital Frankfurt under Professor Kaltenbach.
There he received recognition as a doctor in internal medicine in 1987 and the subspecialty designation of cardiology in 1988. In 1996 the sub-specialty name Angiology followed and in 1997 the additional name Intensive Care Medicine. In 1990 he completed his habilitation with a topic in interventional cardiology. In the same year, Sievert became one of the youngest chief physicians of cardiology in Germany at the Rotenburg Heart and Circulation Center, where he set up and headed one of the largest interventional departments until 1993. In 1993 he moved to the Bethanien Hospital in Frankfurt. Since 2003 he has been head of the CardioVascular Center Frankfurt (CVC) at the Sankt Katharinen Hospital.
From 2007 to 2009 he simultaneously worked in the USA at the Washington Hospital Center as department head. The focus of clinical and scientific work is interventional cardiology and interventional angiology. He became one of the leading international experts in these areas. Patients are referred from all over Germany, other European countries and from overseas. Prof. Dr. Sievert has published more than 300 original papers, book chapters and review articles, given more than 1,000 lectures worldwide and regularly organizes and leads international conferences in his field. In May 1998 he was appointed adjunct professor.
Privately, Prof. Dr. Horst Sievert has been married to his wife Nicola since 1979. Four children were born from this relationship. - Music Department
