Chozy Rani Aiyub is an actor, writer, and producer based in Atlanta, GA. He won a Telly Award for his outstanding drama film Conflict where he plays both roles of Mohammad Abdullah and Moshe Levi, Best Actor in Gold Movie Award (2022), and Best Lead Actor Nominee in Utah Film Award (2023).
During the 2020 plandemic, Chozy Aiyub has produced one feature film titled "The Colonizer". He also produced 5 short films: Conflict, Being X in America, Ganja Hummus, This is Awkward, and Airbnboom. In addition to those, he produced a web series that is on YouTube titled "Cobra's World".
Chozy Aiyub has acted in supporting roles for other film and television series such as Four Amigos (2023), Abiding (2022), AllBlk series Judge Me Not series (2023).
Chozy Aiyub was born in East Jerusalem Palestine to a Palestinian family. His late father was a musician and performing artist who had a band/dance group called "Al-Kawakeb" - translates from Arabic to English as "The Planets" - who after the First Intifada of 1993 changed career into accounting. His mother was a midwife who later became a stay-at-home mom. Chozy attended College de Frere High School in East Jerusalem, where he graduated in 1998. He received his Bachelor in Computer Science in 2006 and a Master in Graphic Communication Management and Technology from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro Georgia.
At a young age, Chozy Aiyub was already involved in performing arts, theater and music from being around his father. At the age of 13, his father bought him his first video camera. That is when Chozy Aiyub began creating short films and casting his friends and neighbors as actors. He would also act in his short films as well. That is when he realized his passion for acting.- Basma Takrouri, a Palestinian actress, writer and poet, residing in Canada, gained recognition through her novel "Absent Seat" published by the Palestinian Writers Union in 2001. She holds degrees in English literature and sociology from Bethlehem University and a master's in communications and PR from Lesell University, Massachusetts (2016). Basma has also authored three children's books in collaboration with the Tamer Institute for Community Education. Her work "Diaries Under Occupation" was translated into French and published by La Courte Échelle in Marseille in 2006. Known for her unique sarcastic literary style, she won the Next Page Foundation publishing award for her novel "A Tricky Passage" (2009) published by Al-Bayraq Al-Arabi, Ramallah. Basma's poems and stories have been featured in various collections, translated into multiple languages, and she's actively participated in global poetry and writer's festivals and international conferences.
