William Gauthier is a French-Canadian director, writer and producer based in Toronto, Canada.
He's been working in film for the better part of a decade - he got his start as an assistant director on several Montréal-based productions, including District 31, Québec's most-watched TV show.
His directorial debut, Each Other, won the Best Short Drama Award at the 2023 Inside Film Festival. That same year, he was named the Best First Time Filmmaker by the Swedish International Film Festival, as well as earning Best Director nominations from both the Toronto Indie Shorts and the Snow Leopard Film Festival.
While his films are mostly rooted in the drama genre, he enjoys dabbling in many aspects of cinema to tell stories that explore the emotional core of complex characters and impact the audience with themes relating to family, resilience and the different faces of grief.
He is the president and founder of Studio Vallion, as well as the co-founder of the award-winning production company Pilgrimage Productions.- Actor

Famous Dada artist who shocked the world when he submitted a urinal signed "R.Mutt" to the 1917 first exhibition of the American Society of Independent Artists at the Armory Show in New York. It was reported in a press account that (Duchamp under pseudonym) J.C. Mutt of Philadelphia, little known in artistic circles, heard that payment of five dollars would permit him to send to the exhibition a work of art of any description or degree of excellence he might see fit. He complied by shipping from Quaker City a familiar article of bathroom furniture by a well known firm of that town. By the same mail went a five dollar bill. And a urinal became a "work of art". Duchamp appears in the film Entr'acte (1924) playing an absurd game of chess (his favorite, by the way) against Man Ray.- Benoît Langlais was born on 29 July 1983 in Blainville, Québec, Canada. He is an actor, known for La maison du pêcheur (2013), 2 frères (1999) and The Secret Pact (1999).
- Louise Harel was born on 22 April 1946 in Sainte-Thérèse-de-Blainville, Québec, Canada. She was previously married to Michel Bourdon.
