Synopsis
When lovelorn groom Danny's (Wil Wheaton) wife suffers a tragic death on the couple's wedding day, the arrival of a mysterious book places his entire future in jeopardy in this supernatural drama from filmmaker Harry Ambrose. Shortly after Danny's wife's untimely death, a mysterious courier named Jonah (Isaac Hayes) bestows the grief-stricken groom with a book that features a list of names followed by corresponding death dates. Why bad?, April 2 2004 By  Melissa Lewis "Missy_with_a_y" (MI, United States) - See all my reviews    You take Richard Grieco (yes, I said Richard Grieco), Wil Wheaton, and Isaac Hayes... sounds like a recipe for some sort of weird comedic stew, right? So imagine how surprised you'll be when you watch this movie and see that it actually rocks pretty hardcore. From the interesting premise (Wheaton's character receives the Book of Days, containing everyone's dates of death, and he then has to decide if he's willing to sacrifice his own time on Earth to save those he loves) to the lovely performances given by Hayes, Wheaton, and Maureen Flannigan, this hardly even feels like a made-for-TV movie. Forget "The Passion of the Christ"--this is what you should be seeing to reaffirm your faith. Was this review helpful to you? After Wil Wheaton's wife is tragically killed on their wedding day, a mysterious book is delivered to him. In this book of days are names with corresponding dates of death. Will Wheaton must now decide whether to take the book and use it for his own financial gain, or to protect his loved ones from their fate and as a result lost years off of his own life.
