Funnywoman Ellen DeGeneres triumphed at the Daytime Emmys on Friday for a second year running, scooping two awards for her talk show Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The TV award ceremony, held in Los Angeles for the first time ever, saw DeGeneres collect honors for Best Talk Show and Best Talk Show Host. DeGeneres publicly praised partner Portia De Rossi when she took to the stage at the legendary Kodak Theatre, declaring, "Portia, I love you." Conflicting Reports Over Richards Accident

Rolling Stones star Keith Richards is recovering in hospital in Auckland, New Zealand, but press reports disagree over how the guitarist was injured. Initial reports said the 62-year-old rocker fell out of a palm tree while on holiday in Fiji on Thursday and suffered a mild concussion. A local newspaper then alleged Richards got on a jet ski after the fall and hurt himself again in another accident. Band spokeswoman Fran Curtis only comments that Richards was injured earlier this week and flew to New Zealand with wife Patti for observation. Her statement did not mention the severity of Richards' condition or how he was hurt. New Zealand's Sunday Star-Times quoted Doctor Uzzel Kanti Dhar as saying Richards was admitted to a private hospital in Fiji on Thursday and then airlifted to Auckland later that day. Fans gathered outside an Auckland hospital yesterday, and New Zealand's TV3 reported that Richard's wife arrived carrying clothes, while a security guard carried in three guitar cases.
Knightley Dress Raises Thousands for Oxfam
Keira Knightley's stunning 2006 Oscars dress is attracting bids of over $7,000 on auction website eBay, with all proceeds going to the charity Oxfam. The deadline for the Vera Wang gown has been extended to Monday in a bid to raise even more cash. A spokeswoman for Oxfam says, "We hope it will go even higher over the next couple of days. We had no idea how much interest there would be and so we are very pleased. People should be aware that £4,000 would be enough money to feed 5,000 children in Tanzania, who are facing the worst food crisis they have known, for a whole month." When the auction was announced earlier this month, Knightley said, "This is such an amazing dress and I'm really pleased to donate it to Oxfam. I've seen the television reports on the horrendous drought in east Africa and know how desperate things have become, so I'm happy to be able to do something to help."
Depp Sues Over "Ruined" Views
Pirates Of The Caribbean star Johnny Depp is suing West Hollywood, Los Angeles, for authorizing construction which will obstruct views from his Hollywood Hills mansion. The actor, who divides his time between France and Los Angeles, is furious over plans to build a massive retail complex on Sunset Boulevard that would ruin the views from his $5.4 million estate. Depp alleges in the lawsuit that the city violated environmental-quality laws by approving a development of retail shops, a restaurant and a parking lot beneath his gated estate. He claims that the project would block the view his two children, Lily-rose, six, and Jack, four, enjoy while playing outside the home. Backers of the development dispute Depp's claims, arguing he has been very vocal about raising his children in France, where he lives with French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis. A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ruled against Depp last year. The case is being appealed on his behalf by his sister, Christi Dembrowski, who is also his personal assistant and president of his film production company. According to developer Joseph Emrani, the dispute has delayed the start of the $10 million project for over a year.
Namibia's Tourist Hopes Over Jolie/Pitt Circus

Government officials in Namibia hope Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's visit to the African country will lead to an influx of tourists. The superstar couple are currently holed up in a fortress of a compound in Namibia, while the press constantly speculates about whether seven-months pregnant Jolie will give birth there or not. In a statement, Namibia's ambassador in the US, Hopelong Lipinge, says, "It would be an honor for Namibia to become the birthplace of the Pitts' first biological child. If Angelina Jolie gives birth in Namibia, she would have done for our tourism sector what our tourism board budget cannot do in a year. The publicity we are receiving is because of Angelina and Brad and not the paparazzi. The paparazzi will not come to Namibia on their own. They will only do so when following a celebrity. Angelina and Brad Pitt can boost tourism but the paparazzi cannot."
Johnson Welcomes Baby Boy

Hollywood star Don Johnson and his wife Kelley had double reason for celebration on Saturday, after their third child was born on the same day as their seventh wedding anniversary. The baby boy, who has yet to be named, was born yesterday morning at a Los Angeles hospital, weighing a healthy 7 pounds. A spokesperson yesterday announced that both mother and baby were doing well, and described the Miami Vice actor as "over the moon times six." The new arrival is a baby brother to the couple's young son Jasper and six-year-old daughter Grace. The 56-year-old star also has a daughter, Dakota, with former wife Melanie Griffith, and a son, Jesse, with actress Patti D'Arbanville.
Rodriguez Released From Jail
Lost star Michelle Rodriguez has been released from prison in Honolulu, Hawaii, after serving a sentence for drink driving. The sexy actress, who plays Ana Lucia on the hit show, chose a prison spell instead of 240 hours community service - and only spent 65 hours behind bars. Rodriguez was arrested in December when Hawaii police officers spotted her weaving along an island freeway. The actress originally insisted she was not guilty when she appeared in court in January.
Union Gives Up on Saving Marriage

Actress Gabrielle Union has given up on saving her marriage to American football star-turned-businessman Chris Howard after giving her estranged husband a lot of "space" during their separation. The Bring It On star fears the sportsman has already moved on and she accepts their five-year marriage is well and truly over. She tells urban magazine Sister 2 Sister, "I gave him so much space... I'm choking myself with it. I'm just learning very recently what my mistakes were. And unfortunately it's a little too late. I learned too late." But Union refuses to be bitter about the split, and still remains close to Howard - but she isn't ready for another romance, even though rapper The Game has publicly declared his love for the actress. She adds, "I'm still in mourning... It's like your father dying and somebody being like, 'Well, I want to be your surrogate parent.' I'm not ready for that. I'm so wounded... and I feel like such a failure as a person for what I was supposed to bring to the table that I didn't."
Kidman's Winter Wedding?

Hollywood star Nicole Kidman is reportedly planning to marry boyfriend Keith Urban in a winter ceremony in her home city Sydney, Australia. According to gossip in Australia, the pair will tie the knot in a Catholic church in the city on June 25. Kidman's publicist has refused to comment on "speculation on wedding dates" but rumors have circulated since the couple were first linked last year. They only confirmed their relationship in February, by arriving at the Grammy Awards holding hands. Kidman has fuelled rumors by showing off a diamond ring on her engagement finger.
Blaine Blacks Out During Training

American illusionist David Blaine blacked out on Friday while holding his breath underwater in preparation for his latest daredevil stunt. Blaine was at a pool in New York City when he passed out while training to break a world record by holding his breath underwater for nine minutes. He blamed the incident on his brutal regime, telling PageSix.com, "I've been working too hard and I'm already dieting, so missing one meal can really mess me up." The illusionist will spend seven days submerged underwater in a fishbowl-like sphere and will then attempt to break the record. Filming will begin on his latest special, David Blaine: Drowned Alive, on Monday at Lincoln Center Square in New York City.
