Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney Split
Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney have split - just four months after marrying in the Caribbean. The couple shocked fans when they announced that they'd wed on May 9 in a sunset ceremony on St. John in the Virgin Islands before 35 close family and friends. It was the first marriage for both. No further details about the couple's split have been made available, but People magazine reports that they're having their marriage annulled. Unfortunately for Zellweger, fellow Texan Dr. Phil McGraw's summer prediction that her marriage to Chesney would last just four months has been proven right. At the time, she hit back, "To come home from getting married and have that guy setting the betting table in Vegas at three months or four months or whatever it was... I'm not so worried about what Dr. Phil thinks." The couple met at the January 15 Concert of Hope tsunami relief benefit, where Chesney sang and Zellweger took phone pledges. The first public display of their romance occurred on April 29, just a few weeks before their wedding, when Cold Mountain star Zellweger surprised Chesney in Jacksonville, Florida - bringing him a margarita onstage for his song "When The Sun Goes Down" and kissing him on the cheek. One of Chesney's biggest hits is a song called "You Had Me From Hello," a takeoff on the famous line from Zellweger's breakout 1996 movie role opposite Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire.
Hilton Hacker Jailed

The teenager who hacked into Paris Hilton's mobile phone and published its contents on the internet earlier this year has been sentenced to 11 months in a juvenile correctional facility. The accused was a 17-year-old boy from Massachusetts, according to a Washington Post report on Wednesday, but prosecutors refuse to reveal his identity because he is a juvenile under federal law. Prosecutors did confirm that the boy pleaded guilty to nine counts of juvenile delinquency - including hacking, theft of personal information and making bomb threats to high schools - in Boston's US District Court last week. During his incarceration and for a further two years after his release, the unnamed boy is prohibited from using computers, mobile phones or any other technologies capable of connecting to the internet.
Photographer in Diaz Topless Photo Case Sentenced

The photographer convicted of trying to sell topless pictures of Cameron Diaz after forging her signature on a contract was sentenced to nearly four years in prison yesterday. John Rutter, who prosecutors accused of trying to blackmail Diaz for $3 million over the bondage-themed snapshots taken before she was famous, was found guilty in July of attempted grand theft, forgery and perjury. Rutter, 43, had asked Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor for probation, saying that the case was a misunderstanding and that he had never intended Diaz any harm. The photographer, who faced a maximum term of five years behind bars, was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison. Rutter testified at the trial that he believed Diaz's signature on a model release was genuine and that he wanted to give her the chance to keep the 1992 photos out of circulation. During her testimony, Diaz acknowledged posing for the snapshots when she was a 19-year-old model looking to break into Hollywood, but said she never signed a released and felt betrayed when Rutter tried to sell her the pictures in 2003. Diaz was not in court for Rutter's sentencing.
Spielberg, Theron & Jones Lead Latest Oscar Race
Steven Spielberg's terrorist drama Munich and Ang Lee's controversial Brokeback Mountain have emerged as the front runners for Best Film at the 2006 Oscars, in the latest release from top movie industry odds site GoldDerby.com. Site editor Tom O'Neil, a top US critic and awards expert, suggests the two epics will compete with war film Jarhead, George Clooney's turn in Syriana and Memoirs Of A Geisha for the top Academy Award. But O'Neil is convinced it will be Spielberg's movie - about the hunt for the killers of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics - that will claim the big prize. He says, "It's the lead pony in this upcoming Oscar derby." Meanwhile, O'Neil and his online critics consortium, favor Tommy Lee Jones to beat Jake Gyllenhaal ( Jarhead), Heath Ledger ( Brokeback Mountain), Philip Seymour Hoffman ( Capote) and Joaquin Phoenix's turn as Johnny Cash ( Walk The Line) to the Best Actor prize for his role in Three Burials Of Melquiades Estrada. GoldDerby.com's experts also predict Charlize Theron will be up for her second Best Actress Academy Award for her role of a victimized miner in North Country. Theron will compete with Judi Dench ( Mrs. Henderson Presents), Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman ( Transamerica), Diane Keaton ( The Family Stone) and Ziyi Zhang ( Memoirs Of A Geisha) for the award.

Moss Snaps After Cocaine Claims
Kate Moss responded with anger when confronted about photographs appearing to show her snorting cocaine. A British newspaper yesterday published snaps of the supermodel purportedly taking the hard drug in a recording studio with her singer boyfriend Pete Doherty's band Babyshambles. But when the Daily Mirror approached the couple in New York, she told reporters to "f**k off". She said, "I don't want to know. F**k off, f**k off, f**k off! Just f**k off." According to the Daily Mirror, the pictures show Moss chopping the white powder into lines with a credit card and snorting it through a rolled up £5 note. It's only what you print."
Crowe Warns He May Quit Hollywood

Hollywood actor Russell Crowe has reportedly warned he will turn his back on the US for good if he is found guilty of assault. The Australian Oscar winner, who is accused of throwing a phone at a New York City hotel employee in June, faces immigration problems if convicted. But Crowe admits he would be glad to see the back of Hollywood after the way he has been treated regarding the alleged incident. He tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "Maybe it's better I don't travel to America. Maybe it's better I don't work in the area of the business that attracts so many flies. You tell me to p**s off too many times and I probably will."

The 30-year-old will replace Leonardo DiCaprio's on-off lover Gisele Bundchen as the face of St. John who appears photographed by celebrity snapper Mario Testino in the label's autumn/winter collection. Jolie's anticipated deal could have a huge impact on future advertisement deals struck by actresses - Gwyneth Paltrow and Elizabeth Hurley were paid $5.4 million to represent Estee Lauder, while Nicole Kidman received $5 million to be the face of Chanel.
