Arquettes Set To Sue Over Baby Photo

Hollywood couple David Arquette and Courteney Cox Arquette have threatened legal action against anyone who publishes photographs of their baby, after the snap was leaked to media organizations. Ten-month-old Coco was snapped at her Alabama, Georgia, christening earlier this month, where Jennifer Aniston was named godmother, and the couple seethed as they discovered the pictures were being distributed without their permission. Several media organizations, including the New York Daily News and Sky News, have reported they received emails from an originator claiming to be Aniston, with the photo as an attachment. Aniston's representative says, "They are not from Jennifer, and we believe they have been stolen from someone who attended the christening. The person who is sending them out pretending to be Jennifer is an imposter." A statement from the fuming Arquettes says, "Although we are public figures, we do have a right to privacy. The photos from our daughter's christening are being distributed without our consent. Anyone publishing these photos will be in copyright infringement and liable to legal action. We appreciate your sensitivity to this matter."

'Rush Hour' Star Tucker Busted for Speeding

Rush Hour star Chris Tucker was arrested and jailed on Sunday morning, after Georgia police caught him speeding. Law enforcers pulled over the comedian's speeding 2005 Bentley when he did not immediately stop for them. Tucker, 33, spent about 30 minutes in the Warren County lock-up before posting a cash bond and being released, according to The Smoking Gun. Police say the screen star, an Atlanta native, was doing 109 miles per hour on Interstate 20 when pulled over by state troopers. He was arrested for reckless driving and fleeing to elude after he did not pull over right away.

Slater's Mother Makes Emotional Appeal to Press

Actor Christian Slater's mother Mary Jo Slater has made a passionate appeal to the press, begging them to stop writing about her son's love life and troubled past - and focus on his charitable acts instead. Hollywood casting director Mary Jo is furious about the media's obsession with the True Romance star's past drug addictions, 1997 jail spell, failed marriage to Ryan Haddon and false reports he's romancing teen star Lindsay Lohan. And Slater's mother is so determined to protect her son, she's issued a statement insisting he is no longer the young, foolish man he once was, but now dedicates himself to good causes. She says, "Knowing Christian better than anyone else, I had to respond. Christian has many wonderful traits. He made mistakes. He was young and wild. When you're young and wild, you make mistakes that you regret later in life. He is a wonderful and loving son, a kind, gentle and very funny person. He is painfully aware of his tarnished reputation. It saddens me that no matter how much he does that is good and positive, his past is always thrown in his face. When River Phoenix died of a drug overdose, Christian was asked to take over his role in Interview With The Vampire, she added. Was it ever reported that he donated his entire salary for the film to River's favorite charity?"

Lohan Sees Red

Singer and upcoming Herbie: Fully Loaded star Lindsay Lohan has broken her promise to maintain her famous red hair forever - by dying it platinum blonde. The sexy Mean Girls actress pledged never to alter her locks in an interview with People magazine last year, but has stunned fans by dramatically changing color. However, Lohan's spokeswoman insists the teen singer/actress had no choice in the matter. She tells website Pagesix.Com, "She only dyed it temporarily for a movie role. It's easier to do the real thing than wear a wig."

Witherspoon Leaves WMA

Legally Blonde star Reese Witherspoon has become the latest star to leave Hollywood's William Morris Agency (WMA). While Halle Berry, Sarah Michelle Gellar and director Matthew Vaughn dumped WMA after controversial comments made by the company's president David Wirtschafter in a recent magazine article, Witherspoon is moving on because her longtime agent Steve Dontanville is set to retire. And despite high expectations that big agencies will vie for Witherspoon's business, sources tell trade publication Variety that the actress isn't sure whether she'll take on a new agent, after having spent 15 years with Dontanville, who signed her on her first movie. Other stars who are with Dontanville through WMA include Kiefer Sutherland and Anne Hathaway. Their future representation is uncertain.

'Star Wars' Theme To Be Released As a Single

Die-hard Star Wars fans will have something extra to purchase when the final installment is released next month - the theme tune is set to be released as a single. The song - composed and conducted by five-time Oscar winner John Williams and played by the London Symphony Orchestra - could force its way into the top 10 in music charts around the world, a rare achievement for a choral and orchestral piece. Sony BMG will release "Battle Of The Heroes" on May 23. The song depicts the fateful struggle between Jedi knight Anakin Skywalker and his mentor Obi-wan Kenobi. Star Wars: Episode III Revenge Of The Sith is the final installment in the six-part series and stars Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen. It hits cinemas worldwide on May 19.

Jackson Accuser's Grandmother Takes the Stand

The grandmother of Michael Jackson's accuser has told his child molestation trial that her grandson returned a completely changed person after spending three weeks with the singer. The boy's grandmother yesterday told the Santa Maria, California, trial that when the then-13-year-old arrived back from Jackson's Neverland Ranch with his two siblings in 2003, all three children were "different kids". She also backed up the testimony of her daughter, who said the family were held against their will at Neverland in Santa Barbara, California, until they agreed to record a video tape clearing Jackson of any wrongdoing. The boy's grandmother said she pretended to be ill so that the children would be released by Jackson. Speaking through an interpreter, the Spanish grandparent said, "Those kids were not my grandchildren. They didn't talk to me the same way. They were different kids." Earlier in the day, Janet dismissed the defense's claim the primary motive behind the allegations is to make money and that she never tried to get cash for the boy's cancer treatment. Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 10 felony charges of child molestation, administering an intoxicating agent and conspiracy involving allegations of child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion. He faces up to 21-years in jail if convicted. The trial continues.

Brown "Demanded $1 Million" for Tabloid Interview

Troubled R&B star Bobby Brown has reportedly demanded $1 million to sit down with tabloid The National Enquirer for an interview. The publication's senior reporter Patricia Shipp recently phoned the My Prerogative singer at his hotel in Antigua to ask if he'd chat on the record about a story in The National Enquirer's April 25 issue concerning alleged flings. The publication reported that Brown enjoyed sexual escapades in Antigua with other women, while wife Whitney Houston is in a rehabilitation clinic at the island's Crossroads Center. Shipp tells website Eurweb, "He told me that he would talk to me if I paid him $1 million." Brown reportedly stressed to Shipp that the interview had to take place face-to- face. He also wanted cash. She adds, "He said absolutely no checks... What could you possibly say that is worth $1 million?"

Ailing Taylor Rubbishes Health Fears

Hollywood icon Dame Elizabeth Taylor has blasted reports she's unable to leave her home due to ailing health - insisting she feels better than ever. Friends of the Cleopatra actress, 73, are fearful for the health of the veteran star, who is reportedly suffering from debilitating Parkinson's disease and scoliosis. But her publicist Sally Morrison counters, "She's not bedridden. She's jumping around like a two-year-old. She's stronger and better than she's been in a long time. She was at Sir Elton John's Oscar party not long ago and walked along the whole press line. She's in robust health and feeling good. Liz has been attending lots of business meetings for her jewelry line launch. She's very cheerful."

James Caan Files for Divorce

Movie tough guy James Caan has filed for divorce from his fourth wife Linda Stokes. The couple were married for almost 10 years and had two children. In court papers filed on Monday in Los Angeles' Superior Court, Las Vegas TV star Caan cites "irreconcilable differences" for the split, and is seeking joint custody of their kids, aged six and nine.
