Lois Lane Ends Her Marriage

Hollywood beauty Teri Hatcher is splitting from her actor husband Jon Tenney after eight years marriage. Hatcher, who's best known for her role as Superman's sidekick Lois Lane in the TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman, filed for divorce on Friday - citing irreconcilable differences. According to the divorce petition, the couple agreed to joint custody of their 5- year-old daughter, Emerson Rose. Hatcher, 38, has also appeared in blockbusters such as Spy Kids and Tomorrow Never Dies, as well as a series of TV commercials for American electronics retailer Radio Shack. Tenney, 41, has appeared in the movies Fools Rush In, alongside Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek, and Beverly Hills Cop III.

Flatley Hit by $33 Million Rape Law Suit

Riverdance star Michael Flatley is facing a $33 million lawsuit from a woman who alleges the dancer raped her in a Las Vegas hotel. The Chicago-area estate agency worker, who is not named, has filed the suit in Lake County, Illinois, America claiming she was raped in the private bedroom area of Flatley's suite at the Venetian Resort Hotel-Casino last October. A lawyer for the lady Dean Mauro claims she met Flatley at a function in Las Vegas the previous month and had been invited to spend another day sightseeing, shopping and gambling with the star. However, Flately's lawyer Bert Fields has countered that the woman in question attempted to blackmail his client months ago, threatening to make a charge of rape public unless she received a cash payment. Fields - who dubbed the allegations "absolutely false" - added, "There is no truth to it whatsoever. The evidence to that effect is overwhelming." Lieutenant Jeff Carlson, from the Las Vegas Police Department, confirmed the allegation had been reported to them, but the authorities declined to press charges.

Law Shuns Oscars to Protect Kidman

Hunky actor Jude Law is shunning next month's Academy Awards to avoid speculation over his relationship with his Cold Mountain co- star Nicole Kidman. The star, who split from wife Sadie Frost last month, hopes to avoid media speculation over his relationship with the actress - which was reignited by the publication of photographs yesterday showing the pair acting intimately at a boozy party - by avoiding the glitzy Hollywood bash. A source says, "He's told Sadie he's not going to go to the Oscars because he knows all eyes will be on him and Nicole. He doesn't want to ruin the night for Nicole - and at the same time he doesn't want to feel he's being watched the whole time they bump into each other at the parties." The friend of the couple adds that Law sought to comfort his wife following the publication of the snaps. They add, "Sadie called Jude the moment she saw the pictures. She was naturally upset. Jude came round to the house immediately to comfort her and he stayed there overnight."

Zeta-Jones Gives OK to Porn Mag

Hollywood stunner Catherine Zeta-Jones allowed her official wedding photos to appear in a Danish porn magazine - adding a new twist to her exclusivity wrangle with British celebrity magazine Hello! The sensational news was revealed at London's High Court yesterday, where Zeta-Jones, and her husband Michael Douglas, are suing the magazine for printing unauthorized pictures of their big day. The court heard how rival magazine OK!, who had exclusive rights to cover the wedding, sold pictures on to porn mag Se Og Hor. James Price QC, representing Hello!, said an authorized shot of Zeta-Jones appeared on the cover of the Danish publication, above a topless model. He added, "The magazine contains further images of a lascivious nature. The suggestion that the Hello! photographs were offensive is extremely difficult to accept when one considers what the claimants were prepared to authorize." The case continues.

Ricci Gets Naked

Hollywood stunner Christina Ricci will appear completely naked in her next film role. The former child star, who shot to fame in The Addams Family, will join actress Charlize Theron in the movie Monster. Monster is the story of executed serial killer Aileen Wournous, a prostitute, who murdered seven men on the Florida highways during 1989-90. And the scenes where the two women become lesbian lovers in prison don't faze the 22-year old star. She says, "I'm pretty f****** naked. My agent persuaded me to go for it. She keeps saying, 'You have beautiful breasts'."

Ashley Judd to Play Linda Lee Porter

Sexy actress Ashley Judd is set to portray legendary socialite Linda Lee Porter in a Cole Porter bio-pic starring Kevin Kline. In the movie De-Lovely, Judd will play Linda Lee, who was married to acclaimed composer Cole - even though he was gay. Linda Lee was a source of inspiration for such musical compositions as Anything Goes and Kiss Me Kate. After she died in 1954, her husband never wrote another song. The unusual love story will begin shooting in London from May 5, which gives the High Crimes beauty time to make the film and be back in America to begin rehearsals for her role as Maggie The Cat in the revival of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.

More Trouble for 'American Idol'

Another former American Idol contestant has brought shame on the TV talent show as he faces a possible involuntary manslaughter charge for accidentally killing someone. Jaered Andrews was mysteriously axed from the show earlier this year and now it has been revealed he's facing trouble after assaulting 39-year-old Thomas Blakeley in Farrell, Pennsylvania, last year. Andrews and friends were reportedly celebrating his status as a semi-finalist in the hours before the incident. Andrews allegedly punched Blakeley in the face and the victim fell backwards onto the concrete, smacking the back of his head and causing his brain to hit the front of his skull, resulting in his death. According to an affidavit, filed last week, Andrews has been charged with simple assault in conjunction with the episode. He'll be charged later this month. Fellow contestant Frenchie Davis was axed from the show last month after it was discovered she'd once posed for a porn website.

Billy Bob Gets Ernest Inspiration

Hollywood actor Billy Bob Thornton is set to bring the work of classic novelist Ernest Hemingway to life in a new movie. The Monster's Ball star has teamed up with the writer's granddaughter, Manhattan star Mariel Hemingway, to secure foreign financing for an independent production of A Moveable Feast, Hemingway's memoir-based novel of 1920 expatriates in Paris. Mariel, who hopes to start shooting the film later this year, will make it her directorial debut, while Thornton, she says, has only confirmed he will be producing at this stage. The film will join two of Hemingway's best-known novels now in development at Hollywood's movie studios: For Whom The Bell Tolls and To Have And Have Not at Warner Brothers and Focus Features respectively.

Sharon Osbourne Winning Cancer Battle

Rock matriarch Sharon Osbourne is winning her battle with cancer. After an extensive bout of chemotherapy, to treat her colon cancer, that ended last month, the wife of bat-munching rocker Ozzy Osbourne was last night waiting for final hospital tests that could give her the all clear. Sharon told talk show host Larry King, "I'm hopeful of getting the all clear. I feel great. I have been feeling helpless because it is the first time in my life that I have not felt well. I now know what it is like to suffer great pain and I know what millions of people around the world have been going through. I'm one of them." Sharing a spot on last night's show with Sharon, former Black Sabbath star Ozzy paid tribute to his wife. He said, "The pain and the suffering she has been through in the past nine months has been amazing. She is amazing. I call her the unstoppable Sharon."

Hawke Hits Dublin Stage

Top actor Ethan Hawke has already turned his hand to writing novels - now he's scheduled to perform a series of American plays in Ireland. Dead Poets Society star Hawke will be the main attraction at the Americana festival taking place at the Abbey in Dublin - the National Theatre of Ireland. He will be appearing in a reading of Sam Shepard's The Late Henry Moss. Hawke - who's married to blonde bombshell Uma Thurman - won critical acclaim for his novel Ash Wednesday, as well as for his film work.
