Cameron Diaz Set to Wed?

Sexy actress Cameron Diaz has sparked a buzz she's finally set to marry - after she was spotted sporting an engagement ring. The Charlie's Angels beauty, a longtime girlfriend of hunky actor Jared Leto, was seen by a journalist for showbiz website Page Six showing off a huge new engagement ring to a pal at Miramax's party at Trader Vic's, following the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on Sunday. According to the site, Diaz clinched the engagement ring after issuing an ultimatum to her boyfriend.

Ryder Lands New Role

Elfin Winona Ryder is set to make her first movie since being convicted of shoplifting last year - a comedy called Eulogy. The Girl, Interrupted actress will join Everybody Loves Raymond star Ray Romano, plus Debra Winger and Hank Azaria in the black comedy. It follows three generations of a family who come together for the funeral of the patriarch - unveiling a litany of family secrets and covert relationships.

Baldwin and Pacino Enjoy the Benefits of Cosmetics

Alec Baldwin and Al Pacino have been ensuring they constantly look their best at this year's Sundance Film Festival - by donning make-up at the event. Baldwin reportedly summoned a team of Mac make-up artists to come out and revitalize his face one morning this week at the Utah festival, according to showbiz website Page Six. And, according to sources, not a lot of women wanted to be made up this year - it was all men who needed make-up. Robert Downey, Jr. reportedly needed to hide a sunburn acquired while skiing, while Oliver Stone, William H. Macy and Pacino all stopped by the Mac room at the Seven Jeans lodge in Deer Valley for touch-ups.

Downey Jr. Fascinated by Dysfunctional People

American actor Robert Downey, Jr. understands people's interest in his long battle with cocaine addiction - because he enjoys nosing into the lives of 'screwy' people too. The former Ally McBeal star has made it to the front pages of the tabloids a number of times over the years for his arrests and subsequent rehabilitation visits - and he appreciates why. He says, "I love it when people go on benders, get arrested, get (messed) up, hit-and-runs, as long as no one gets killed. I just think it's amazing how screwy people are. So that's definitely a big part of my story." Although the star admits that he still battles drug dependency, his experiences in jail and rehabilitation have made him wiser. He adds, "My frequent appearances on Court TV have brought me to another level than just always 'the acting guy.' I think I've become very tangible to people... because of my fallibility."

Liz's Mystery Man Revealed

The mystery man seen snuggling up to British actress Liz Hurley at a Paris fashion show is Arun Neyla. The pair were snapped holding hands at Monday's Christian Dior show. Despite having front row seats, the couple spent most of the show looking at each other, ignoring the catwalk action. The Bedazzled star, 37, showed her support for Christian Dior by wearing a top sporting the designer's name.

Latifah's Hard Work for 'Chicago' Role

Rapper Queen Latifah had a tough time landing her role in the new musical Chicago - she had to audition three times. Latifah, who scored a Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Matron 'Mama' Morton in the film, says she had to truly work hard to score the role, returning multiple times. She notes, "I had to earn this one - three auditions. There were so many fantastic actors who wanted to play this role and who could play this role. So really it was a question of, 'Which Mama do you want?' (which was) a choice for Rob Marshall the director. He went with the chocolate Mama!"

Kidman: Successful Because She's Single

Golden Globe-winning star Nicole Kidman believes her recent film successes are due to the fact she is no longer in a long-term relationship. The Hours actress Kidman was previously married to Minority Report megastar Tom Cruise, but since their split in 2001 has increasingly become a huge star in her own right. She says, "I spent 11 years of my life dedicated to something else, really. I was dedicated to my relationship rather than to work. It wasn't even a choice, it was just what it was - that was where my passion was. And now I've come out of that. There's so much in me that I want to say, that I feel, that I have existing inside me, and it's coming out. And there's a way in which I go, well, I don't have anything else in my life...I have my children, but I don't have a relationship. I have this at the moment."

Zellweger's Vie for 'Moulin Rouge'

Renee Zellweger had plans to unleash her singing talents onto the world a long time before her new movie Chicago - she was a contender for Nicole Kidman's role in hit musical Moulin Rouge. Zellweger, who clinched a Golden Globe Award on Sunday for her role as a murderous vamp in Chicago, had hoped to land the part of Satine in the 2001 movie, but was beaten to it by flame-haired beauty Kidman. The Bridget Jones's Diary star says, "I think at one point all of us are up for the same role. But no one should have been on that swing but Nic." Kidman and Zellweger have teamed up to co-star in the upcoming Civil War flick Cold Mountain.

Drew Barrymore's Constant Costume Changes

Actress Drew Barrymore is being kept busier than ever while filming the second installment to hit movie Charlie's Angels - because she has so many costume changes. The 27-year-old actress, who has re-teamed with Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu for Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, admits that her constant change of appearance in the movie has proved quite a memorable experience. She says, "There are so many different costumes. One day we're in motocross gear, the next day we're coming out of a Greek statue. Then we're in evening gowns, and next we're dressed like roller derby girls." But the constant costume change seems to have influenced Barrymore somewhat. In the new movie Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind she plays the girlfriend of The Gong Show host Chuck Barris. And if she had the chance to appear on the defunct '70s talent show in real life, she's sure about the bizarre outfit she'd most like to don. She explains, "I'd come out as a flower and water myself. I'd wear a green stocking suit and a big white feather hat, so I would look like a daisy. It'd get gonged."

Durst: "People Should Chill About Me and Britney"

Rocker Fred Durst has lashed out at fans and the media for criticizing his relationship with pop princess Britney Spears. The Limp Bizkit star insists people need to "chill" about the unconventional love match between Durst, 31 and Britney, 21. Writing on the band's official website, Durst says, "Well I'm sure we've had it up to our necks with all the hype. Isn't it amazing how something very simple, pure, sweet, and innocent can be blown so far out of proportion? Who really gives a s**t that I wanna be with Britney Spears? It seems as if everyone does. The only person that should give a s**t is Britney. I never meant to be in this situation. S**t happens. What's the big deal? Yeah, she is a big pop star and her last relationship with another big pop star was a big deal, but damn y'all need to chill. Do you think I should not like someone because you don't want me too? F**k that! You people are my family and I respect you, as you should me. I never meant to fall into all of this. All the media is doing is trying to create a lot of controversy. To them it's just more interesting to make up lies and crazy dramatic s***."
