Disney and Pixar's Coco topped the weekend box office for the third week in a row. In fact, the only shake-up in the weekend top five compared to the last two weeks is to see A24's The Disaster Artist landing in fourth position as it expanded into 840 theaters this weekend following its strong limited bow last week. As for the weekend's only new wide release, Broad Green's release of Just Getting Started struggled to finish over $3 million, barely eking into the top ten. With an estimated $18.6 million, Disney and Pixar's Coco topped the weekend box office as its domestic gross climbs to $135.5 million domestically. While the film's opening weekend was closer to that of 2000's Tangled, it has since started playing closer to Disney's Moana, which also topped the weekend box office for three straight weeks last year following its Thanksgiving debut prior to ceding the #1 spot to Rogue One.
