Yasmin Hankel is a German actress working in both German and English language Film, Theatre and Voice Over productions.
On stage, Yasmin has played roles from Shakespeare's Fairy Queen Titania in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" to Defence Counsel Biegler in the African premiere of the International, world wide interactive theatre success - "Terror" by Ferdinand von Schirach.
She formally trained with Tamryn Speirs, Alison Hofer and Liese Kuhn at ACT Cape Town. Her vocal coaches include Robyn Scott, Alison Hofer and Richard Wright-Firth.
Recently, Yasmin has voiced several characters in animation and games, as well as narrating conversational commercials, e-learning projects and documentaries.
On a daily basis she lives and works in both languages, her native German language and her second native language, English. Yasmin grew up in the USA, Germany, Mexico and South Africa. She has a background as competitive foil fencer, winning her numerous National successes such as a Sports Scholarship during her University studies. After the completion of her studies she became the fencing coach at the University for several years.
