Samy Nour Younes Figaredo

Samy Nour Younes Figaredo (he/him, they/them) is an actor, print model, consultant, and community organizer of over a decade. He recently narrated the audio book for the Lambda Literary award-winning novel The 30 Names of Night. Other recent appearances include Chonburi International Hotel & Butterfly Club (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Well-Intentioned White People (Barrington Stage Company), and Into the Woods (Ford's Theatre). As a commercial and print model, he has participated in campaigns for CitiBank, Gilead Sciences, and JUST Water.
In the past, Samy has co-organized rallies, events, and panels that promote LGBTQ+ outreach and support. His most visible contribution to trans advocacy is his TED Talk on Trans History 101, with almost 2 million views. As a consultant, trainer, and facilitator, he focuses on issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community.
