“Survivor” fans received a double dose of “Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers” in this week’s back-to-back episodes, which featured Jeff Probst snuffing the torches of John “Jp” Hilsabeck, followed in the next episode by the departure of Joe Mena, who found himself outwitted, outplayed and outlasted by nemesis Ben Driebergen. Et Canada caught up with both […]...

Viewers finally saw some moves being made on Wednesday's episode of Survivor -- but don't call it a blindside.
After seemingly being on the bottom since the merge, Joe Mena and Dr. Mike were finally able to turn the vote, sending Jp Hilsabeck home. It was a huge victory for the Coconuts, as they called themselves, but Mena, who was sent home in Wednesday's second episode, isn't exactly happy about it.
"It wasn't a blindside. It was Jp!" he told Et on Thursday. "A blindside would have been Chrissy and Ben, and that's what I was going after. After two weeks of me yelling, [threatening that I won't vote for] any of the seven if no one makes a move... they came up with Jp."
"Jp is the person you actually keep in the game.... I don't think he knew what was going on," he continued. "Once Jp was gone, I was really trying to flip the script and take Devon out. But they...

The spaghetti ghost came back to haunt Cole Medders on Thursday's episode of Survivor.
The 24-year-old could definitely outplay and outeat his tribemates on Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers -- but outwit and outlast them, not so much. His love for (other people's) food and lack of ability to hide it made Cole a target since the merge, with his aptitude for immunity challenges the only thing keeping his fire alive in the game. Thursday's challenge, however, didn't prove to be his strong suit, as Lauren emerged victorious, sealing Cole's fate -- despite Dr. Mike's efforts otherwise.
"I had no idea Mike was going to go make some crazy Statue of Liberty speech and try to draw votes his way, or that he was going to play his idol," Cole told Et of Mike's last-ditch play to send Ben home, revealing that Mike also pulled out a fake idol during tribal council and gave it to Joe...

This week’s edition of “Survivor” saw viewers bid goodbye to Ali Elliott when the 24-year-old celebrity assistant found herself blindsided during Tribal Council. Her ouster came after a tense blowup at camp when Ali confronted Ryan about keeping her out of the loop. As a result, Ryan, Chrissy and Jp all cast their votes for […]...

Ali Elliott drew the "short straw" on Survivor, and not just on Wednesday night's episode.
According to the Los Angeles native, her time on Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers was doomed from day one.
"If anything, the reason I was sent home was because of Ryan's luck," Ali told Et over the phone on Thursday, after watching her elimination the day before. "I think that you could say that him grabbing that secret super idol on the boat, that was the beginning of my downfall, because him having that, and happening to give it to Chrissy, and then happening to get on the same swap? Like, seriously, how lucky can you get?"
"So, all of Ryan's luck turned into my unluck, and I became rather unlucky after all of his advantages," she added.

Roark Luskin seemed like the perfect match for Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers -- she's smart, athletic and a fan of Survivor -- but was sent packing on Wednesday night.
"When I saw my name for the first time, I was like, 'Oh, Ok. Yeah. I'll excuse myself. Thanks so much, Jeff Probst,'" the 27-year-old told Et over the phone on Thursday after watching her "saucy" tribal council the night before.
Roark's elimination seemed to be caused by a combination of the game's recent tribe swap and Ryan's alliance switcheroo, but she wasn't about to blame either one of them. "I believe the best Survivor players are always able to pivot and do something," she reasoned. "I had no idea about that day one super idol that Ryan gifted Chrissy, and that was a relationship that there was no way for myself or Ali to account for. They kept it so hidden."

During the Season 35 premiere of “Survivor,” which pits everyday heroes vs. healers vs. hustlers, NFL player Alan Ball made a memorable impression on the game when he forced firefighter Jp Hilsabeck to strip naked to prove that he didn’t have an idol. And thus, the internet hashtag #IdolStripSearch was born. Do you think Alan […]...
