Maleek has been working with sports talent for more than 15 years in various roles throughout his career. He's a decorated global executive/showrunner for television, digital, social, podcast and virtual-reality platforms.
Prior to joining Cultivate Entertainment Partners Maleek worked for FOX Sports as a Coordinating Producer in their soccer department. During his time at FOX he was a showrunner for the most watched live soccer match in American TV history; the 2015 Women's World Cup Final between USA and Japan. He also developed the first-ever Facebook Champions League production for their social platform and created MultiMatch 90, the first American "whip-around" simulcast production designed to cover match-days within Champions League.
Earlier in his career Maleek was one of the original production employees at MLB Network, now one of the most watched sports cable networks. While working there he won three Emmy's as a showrunner for MLB Tonight. He also built the initial media management group, which oversaw all the assets for the network and digitized their archive.
Maleek also developed Comcast SportsNet Northwest's (now NBC Sports Northwest) original live news productions. These daily live-shows were the first sports-specific news broadcasts for the Pacific Northwest region.
