Stephen Brailsford is an actor based in North Yorkshire.
He has made appearances in Heartbeat, Emmerdale, A for Acid, The Royal, Victoria and many other productions. On stage, he has appeared in productions from musical theatre to pantomime. As a working actor, Stephen has not only returned to education at Coventry University Scarborough Campus working with the Stephen Joseph Theatre, he is producing community based projects making theatre and film accessible for everyone.
As an entertainer, Stephen is one of the most versatile performers in the United Kingdom, not only does Stephen sing, he is an international magician, comedian and facilitator.
He was born in Rainworth, Nottinghamshire and left school at the age of 16, after a number of occupations including coal mining, Stephen ended up in Scarborough North Yorkshire where he has a fantastic career in entertainment. Starting as a Redcoat for Butlin's Stephen became an Entertainments Manager where he built his experience within the variety sector. He can be seen performing his one-man show in venues around his adopted county. After being an entertainer for many years Stephen started writing with author GP Taylor and together they have created scripts for both film and TV.
