Billie Eilish turned heads at the end of last year, rocking up to the third Annual Academy Museum Gala in a busty look that was a far cry from her usual baggy wardrobe. The 22-year-old singer, known for covering up, showcased her fierce curves in an eye-popping outfit, channeling sexy librarian vibes in a pinstripe suit and rocking the shirtless trend. Flashing her assets as she also wore a push-up bra, Billie reminded the cameras that she's all woman, and fans still haven't gotten over it. Meanwhile, fashionistas gushed over the "bad guy" hitmaker's fashion choice as she opted for Kardashian-adored designer Jean Paul Gaultier.

Billie Eilish’s third studio album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” was released May 17, yet it seems like everyone is still on a high about it. The singer-songwriter’s new record has been a huge commercial success, and it has also managed to captivate critics too, with many hailing it as the best of the year and Eilish’s brightest work yet. The album’s run has just started, but it is already a possible ticket for Eilish to score her second Album of the Year win at the Grammys.
A second win for Eilish would definitely be impressive, but not shocking. Throughout her short career, she has already taken home nine Grammys, six of those being in the general field. She’s one of the few people to win the awards for Record and Song of the Year twice, and she did so with three different songs, showing that...

Taylor Swift remains an immovable object at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart. Her “Tortured Poets Department” spent a sixth week at number-one for the tracking week that ended May 30. It achieved another 175,000 equivalent album units based on its combined record sales, individual track sales and online streams. Read all about this week’s chart here at Billboard.com.
Billie Eilish‘s “Hit Me Hard and Soft” held steady at number-two with 145,000 units. That was her career-best second week total after breaking her personal record for the most first-week units on last week’s chart. Those two women were able to hold off rock duo Twenty One Pilots, whose “Clancy” debuted at number-three with 143,000 units. In the number-four spot with 73,000 units was the ever-durable “One Thing at a Time” by Morgan Wallen. And rounding out the top five with 54,000 units was former BTS member Rm‘s “Right Place, Wrong Person.

There is a thought process that the people who lose on American Idol often have better careers than the champions. While the long-term success remains to be seen, runner-up WIll Moseley is actually more successful right now than champion Abi Carter.
Here is what you need to know about the two competitors as they start their musical careers.
Will Moseley Is Out-Selling American Idol Champion Abi Carter
Abi Carter won American Idol this season, beating out runner-up Will Moseley. She won largely thanks to her incredible renditions of songs like Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” However, now that she is the Idol champion, she seems to have fallen behind the person she beat, country singer Will Moseley.
Abi Carter from American Idol | YouTube
Carter’s first single to hit the Billboard charts is her original song, “This Isn’t Over.” The single was pretty successful, reaching No.

It’s been a long few weeks since the first part of Bridgerton Season 3 debuted on Netflix, sending fans into a frenzy over the romance between Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan). Although the second part doesn’t debut until June 13, at least we now have a trailer to tide us over.
In the clip, Colin and Penelope are engaged, much to the horror of Eloise and the delight of Portia. But drama is still afoot, especially since Penelope has not yet told Colin her big secret about being Lady Whistledown.

Rock music is far from dead. Last year’s Grammy nominations proved that, with some of the leading acts in music being present in the rock categories. Alongside legends like The Rolling Stones and Metallica, the field was graced by the presence of Gen-z’s favorite artists, such as Boygenius, Arctic Monkeys and Olivia Rodrigo. So to find great rock music these days, you just have to pay attention. We are certainly paying attention this year, with a slew of buzzy releases already in the conversation to take home the gold come Grammy time.

While Henry Cavill awaits his destiny as Agent 007 in the James Bond films, the producers are reportedly looking at changing up a different aspect of the legendary spy franchise. According to a source, producer Barbara Broccoli is looking at artists such as Bruno Mars and The Weeknd to produce the theme song of the next Bond film.
The James Bond films have always featured an original song for their grand opening credits sequences. Three of these songs have won Oscars in the past, including Adele’s ‘Skyfall’, Sam Smith’s ‘Writing’s on the Wall’, and Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell’s ‘No Time To Die’. The new Bond film might have a change in style due to the artists the production is eyeing.

How do we know what music is actually good? Many fans look to critics. Sure, some might label music journalism as irrelevant in assigning value to art, but the reality is, critics do at least partly contribute to the consensus on the quality of music. That’s why, whether it is during a civilized conversation or the most rabid Twitter stan war, an album’s Metacritic score typically comes up. So award show voters must take those top albums more into consideration than others, right? To be a big awards player, doesn’t your album need to be somewhat acclaimed?
Let’s take a look at the past three Grammy ceremonies as examples. Since these are ceremonies with no nomination review committees involved, the results are a more accurate, unfiltered reflection of what voters think. According to Metacritic, anything below 81 is not “universally acclaimed,” so that’s how I’ll sort it out.

While fans have gone wild over the Pitbull cover in “Bridgerton” Season 3’s climactic carriage scene, showrunner Jess Brownell admitted she was “nervous” to see the audience response.
“I picked the Pitbull song and I was a little nervous, because it’s an unusual choice that it might take people out of the scene,” Brownell told TheWrap. “But it’s been so wonderful to see that people have taken to it, that actually it’s given that scene even more depth.”
Brownell added that she knew the carriage scene — which features a steamy, intimate moment between Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) after Colin confesses his romantic feelings for his longtime friend — was strong, admitting she “had a good feeling that people were going to respond to it.”

Billie Eilish may not have debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200 with her new album “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” but she still achieved some personal-best metrics. The album accumulated 339,000 equivalent album units, her highest total ever in a single week. Of those units, 191,000 came from traditional album sales, also her strongest result. And the lead single, “Lunch,” debuted at number-five on the Billboard Hot 100, the highest debut of her career yet. Given Eilish’s stellar track record in top Grammy categories, could we then see “Lunch” win her Record of the Year and Song of the Year again?
Eilish has already made history in both categories. She won Record of the Year in 2020 and 2021 for “Bad Guy” and “Everything I Wanted,” respectively, making her just the third artist to win that award in consecutive years; that feat had previously been achieved by Roberta Flack (“The First Time Ever I...

It was a great week for the top two albums on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the tracking week that ended May 23, but for Billie Eilish‘s highly anticipated third album “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” huge personal-best numbers weren’t enough to surpass Taylor Swift‘s “The Tortured Poets Department,” which spent its fifth straight week at number-one. Read more about this week’s chart here at Billboard.com.
“Tortured Poets” was actually up a whopping 45% to 378,000 equivalent album units based on its combined record sales, individual track sales and online streams. As Billboard reports, the gain was due to new digital album and CD variants, plus multiple deluxe CD editions being back in stock. “Hit Me Hard and Soft” achieved 339,000 units, which is Eilish’s best week ever, better even than her blockbuster debut album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?,” which started off with 313,000 units.

A year after hip-hop’s 50th anniversary, and only a few weeks after Kendrick Lamar’s feud with Drake culminated in a chart-topping track where he calls Drake a “colonizer,” the hottest topic on the rap internet right now is a white kid from St. Louis rapping over vintage-sounding Atlanta rap beats. The new Eilish album has 339,000 equivalent album units earned on the chart dated June 1 (for the week ending May 23). That figure represents Eilish’s largest week ever by units earned, and of that sum, 191,000 are traditional album sales, again her best sales week yet.

The figures handily surpass Eilish’s previous top sales: Her 2019 debut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? which registered 313,000 units. Her previous biggest sales week, Billboard notes, was the opening frame of the debut album, with 170,000.

“Bridgerton” Season 3 is here, and with it comes a new collection of string covers of iconic pop songs. The Shondaland Netflix series made a mark with its first season by packing the regency-era period story with string quartet covers of modern pop songs, and the trend continues in the new season that puts the focus on a romance between Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton).
“Bridgerton” Season 3 Part 1 also features the Netflix show’s first-ever original song: “All I Want” is written by Rogét Chahayed (Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More”), Wesley Singerman (Jennifer Lopez’s “Butterfly”), Taylor Dexter (Joji’s “Die for You”) and Nicole Cohen (Meghan Trainor’s “Sensitive”). Tori Kelly performs the song on the soundtrack, and the orchestral version was arranged by “Bridgerton” composer Kris Bowers.

Epic Games introduced the Fortnite Festival as a new way to indulge in the game’s world, initially launched as a PvE title. Based on the formula popularised by cult classic titles like Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
Since new content keeps coming to the title, fans are always looking for new features released officially or sometimes leaked by content creators. This time, something similar happened when I leaked information about the Festival’s PvP mode, and a fan spotted something exciting.
Scott Pilgrim May Be Coming to Fortnite Festival, as per an Observation Made by a Fan. The game brought back a lost genre.
Fortnite Festival has enjoyed tonnes of popularity despite a genre that isn’t relevant, which has made people come up with competitor titles. Given the amount of resources that Epic Games can burn to bring the best quality of content to the title, any title...

Fortnite has been around for a few years now and Epic Games has done plenty to elevate the gameplay and improvements to the entertainment factor by taking inspiration from other games. Music lovers will get a kick out of this new PvP mode that is reminiscent of Guitar Hero.
The gaming community has never grown tired of the competitive nature of the live service game but it wouldn’t hurt to add something different. Rather than shooting each other, winners will be determined by players beating their opponents by having a better sense of hearing.
Fortnite Is About to Replace Guitar Hero in the Most Epic Way
The latest season of Fortnite just started and Epic Games still has a lot more to offer.

“I can’t do that,” Eilish said. “My show would be like a million years long. If I did that, I’d have to cut like every other song that I have — so I’m gonna have to choose, y’all. But I’ll do most of [the songs from the album].”

No one can drag Billie Eilish down…unless you’re the weight strapped to her during the photo shoot for her Hit Me Hard and Soft album cover art.
The Grammy-winning singer revealed on Tuesday’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert that the photo for her third studio album, released May 17, was in fact “very real” and not photoshopped.
“This was the day after this last Grammys, actually. I had gone to sleep at 7 a.m.,” Eilish recalled of the day she shot the artwork. “I woke up, I dyed my hair black — it was like bright red — I dyed it black that day. Then I went to this random place in Santa Clarita or some nonsense. There’s a tank in this giant place, and it was, like, 10 feet deep. And I popped my little ass in there, and I was in there for six hours.

Lord Pitbull has officially joined the ton. Last week, Netflix premiered the first four episodes from Bridgerton‘s highly-anticipated third season, which centers its plot around Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. Their slow-burning, friends-to-lovers romance reaches a heated point in the back of a carriage during that fourth episode — and the pivotal moment is soundtracked by an orchestral version of Pitbull‘s 2011 hit single “Give Me Everything.”

In just a few short years, Billie Eilish has demonstrated a keen sense of range that’s far beyond her 22 years, and she’s managed to tap into—and help shape—the cultural zeitgeist more than once, writing anthems for bad guys, Bond, and Barbie. With her exquisite third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, she further cements her status as alt-pop’s happy warrior, keeping one foot in the mainstream and another firmly outside of it.
At just 10 tracks, Hit Me Hard and Soft is both Eilish’s most concise and most ambitious album to date. Throughout, she and her main collaborator, brother Finneas, experiment with song structure and style, examining her celebrity and persona, in ways that are both playful and profound. Packed with multipart songs and self-referential lyrics that reward repeat listens, the album is a world unto itself—and the most fully realized version of Eilish’s sound.
