Rachel Elizabeth McKim
- Director
- Second Unit Director or Assistant Director
- Additional Crew
After winning multiple awards at the 2012 LA WebFest, the co-creator and co-star of the comedic mini-web series "Please Don't Fire Me" decided to strike while the iron was lukewarm!
Rachel kept her fan (singular) somewhat engaged by releasing a handful of online comedy skits, followed by a brief but glorious stint as a stand-up comic and comedy show host and producer. Despite her obvious good looks, she decided to explore work behind the cameras, taking on music video directing ("Run the Wrong Way" and "Dresden" by Howlin' Circus), and assistant directing an independent feature film ("Great Great Great", Adam Garnet Jones).
Rachel began working at Take 5 Productions in 2015, where she co-produced Digital Media projects for the show "Vikings" (Corus), and works on projects such as "The Handmaid's Tale", "Vikings", and "Most Dangerous Game" to name a few.
Rachel recently co-created her first 30-minute comedy series that she is very excited for you to see, and personally guarantees* will change your life! These days Rachel divides her free time between working on several scripted projects, and frantically texting her friends about whether she should get bangs. (She shouldn't).
TL;DR: Rachel Elizabeth McKim is a Writer, Director, Actor and Producer from Toronto, Canada with over 10 years experience in the Film and TV Industry, and is most celebrated for her ability to write verbose, partially informative bios.
